Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI loved that it was easy walking distance to the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. Once behind the hotel gate it was like a little oasis. The staff were really welcoming and super helpful. Big thanks to Loretto who helped us to negotiate buying online tickets to the national parks. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable beds, big shower room, good breakfast and the nice touch of free refillable water bottles and a super tasty cheese board and a glass of wine if you stay on a Saturday night. Lovely courtyard off your room if you want some outdoor privacy too. Would definitely recommend Pascual Andino to all my friends

CroatiaThe beauty of interior design could be a bit better, although everything had some underlying idea in design. Coming from Our Habitas, it was a bit of change

AustraliaWe had an amazing stay at Hotel Pascual Andino - from the beautiful spaces and expansive complimentary breakfast to the surprise wine & cheese sundowner and fantastic location just a block or two away from the Main Street of San Pedro de Atacama - everything was so wonderful. Plus, the staff are the Hotel’s greatest asset! We had a major issue with our rental car, and the Hotel staff - particularly Andrea went above and beyond to help us sort it out with the rental company and organised our transfer to Calama for our flight. It’s an incredible place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama, you’ll be so glad you booked it!

United StatesThe ceiling fan was nice but the switch should be more easily available. The bathroom needs a bit more better air circulation. The parking lot is small and you need to back up your car to go out. The first staff member helped me to go out but the another staff did not go out to check the upcoming traffic, which made me a bit difficult to be confident to back up and leave the facility. You might want to ask someone to check the back when the car goes out.
The staff were all incredibly nice including cleaning staff. Breakfast was excellent, simple but tasty. Omelets they cooked were excellent. The Saturday special wine and cheese were all high quality and enjoying such in patio were the moment that you never forget.

JapanThis hotel is great for a stay in Atacama. Francisca and other staffs are very friendly and attentive, and everything is clean. Also, it’s located in the center of town. Everything (nice restaurants/bars for lunch/dinner, shops for souvenirs, and travel agents) are within a very short-walk distance. Definitely I recommend you to pick this hotel!

BrazilParking was a tight but staff helped us squeeze our car in - and I think this is true of all San Pedro. Pool was broken during our stay but staff very apologetic.
Beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly staff who helped us with excursion planning and facilities. Even helped me plan proposing to my now fiancée and booking an incredible celebratory dinner. Breakfast was amazing (guacamole!)

Pascual Andino is a little and beautiful hotel (looks better in reality than in the pictures). It is a few minutes walking distance from the center of the town and silent. The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything you may need. The rooms are very spacious and clean (the bathroom is great). I would stay again.

United StatesI liked everything about the Hotel Pascual Andino. I have a suggested improvement though and that is to have a coffee maker in the room. There is hot water and instant coffee available to hotel guests 24/7 in the dining area which is very accessible but I just like to convenience of getting a cup of coffee and hanging out in the room. This is the only improvement that I would suggest
The experience at Hotel Pascual Andino was very nice. The check-in process was easy but thorough. I found the room to be very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the private outside sitting area was really a nice feature but the star of the show was the shower--it was awesome! I interacted frequently with the people at the Hotel Pascual Andino and their help was always prompt and good. The staff at the office were bi-lingual (e.g., Spanish and English and maybe other languages) and able to assist with many things. I also found the Hotel Pascual Andino staff to be responsive post-booking when I had questions about certain services. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Pascual Andino again. From the Hotel Pascual Andino it is a very short walk to Calle Caracoles which is an area with many good restaurants (I liked Rincon del Sal the best), tour offices and shops. It is also a very short walk to the main plaza which is an attractive area to hang out.
