The aircon wasn't working but we solved that issue with the staff providing me a heater. And a very good one, too!

Even though the level of English proficiency was different among staff we could communicate without issues. They were super polite, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, literally next to the Temple of Heaven and one of the main subway lines to the city centre

The facade is a little old and the interior isn’t very clean perhaps it’s under going a refurbishment on the upper floors. The shower area is curtained with a half inch curb to prevent the water running out to the toilet area from being splashed and wet. The window in the shower is covered by a curtain to prevent your shadow from being viewed from outside. Rubber slippers are both for room and shower. The shower is a fridge during winter because it’s not double glazed. We requested a portable heater to heat the shower if not goosebumps will rise after a shower and you’ll be lucky not to catch a chill. We had a family room and closet was just a stand with a telescopic bar across. The A/C is not very cold when the weather started to heat up and not warm enough to heat the room in the morning when the temperature dropped below freezing. We turned the A/C to 21C but it didn’t feel like 21C and 27C when it was freezing outside but still didn’t warm up the room. We had a balcony for our room and the cold creeps in. The heating from the A/C unit was turned off once the temperature outside reached a comfortable level according to the district regulations regardless if the nights were cold and uncomfortable. That’s what the hotel told us that the district rules were such so we just abided by it. On the whole our stay was satisfactory. Perhaps the hotel may have been working on a budget??

It is a 5 minute walk to the West Gate of The Temple of Heaven and also to the Tianqiao Metro Station on line 8. The bus stop is outside the metro station to town. There are some shops, hairdressers, laundry and massage on the main street after you exit from the hotel and turning right. Turn another right at the junction and walk about 15 minutes up to the end of the street there are two big supermarkets and eateries, Luckin coffee as well as fast food restaurants.

The check-in process was fast, without any problem, and in English, which I appreciated. The location of the hotel is great in terms of the subway station nearby, but also the temple of heaven. The room was quite big, at least for one person there was more than enough space.

Room wasn't the most presentable. Wallpaper was peeling, cobwebs around corners and shower wasn't hot.

The hotel was perfect for our week trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful, like they really did help a lot with many questions that I've had in the first few days in the country. Very comfy and warm beds after some exhausting days in Beijing are included. Overall, I a mvery satisfied with my stay.

The room heater is not working well and at night is cold and very difficult to sleep well. Staff updated that they can't do much due to the weather at night is cool. Furthermore, there is no door for the toilet and very inconvenience to us.

The location is good and few minutes walk to the subway station.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and we initially had 2 consecutive bookings with different rooms for 2 days each, because we couldn't book the same room for 4 consecutive nights due to availability. The staff arranged the booking so we could have the same room for 4 nights and we didn't have to move. There was also no problem leaving our luggage behind temporarily, when we checked out. The room we had was quite spacious. It had a charming design and the bed was very comfortable. Location was also good. There is a metro station in a walking distance of about 5 to 8 minutes and the area was plenty quiet.

Seems like it was converted from living flats, furniture and design is quite dated and would benefit from renewal. Visited during the autumn so temperature dropped quite low at night, was a bit cold. Same with the shower, but i guess it's tied to city and cannot be helped.

Great location next to a metro station, temple of heaven and not that far from city center. Quiet neighborhood. Safe and reasonably clean.

While the staff was pretty nice and spoke relatively good English, you only get one key card per room which was a little annoying. And the room was relatively clean and they came to clean it everyday, but the towels would have stains on it. I’d recommend bringing your own towels and shampoo bottles, but you don’t have to. Also, the WiFi was awful so we couldn’t use it, which means spending more money on cellular or eSIM. But if you get an eSIM, I use the app Airalo to buy my eSIMs when traveling, it was fine and the cellular worked.

I love that the property’s location!!! It was a really close walk to the metro station. We didn’t need to use taxi at all when in the city, we just got around on the metro. You also don’t need a train card or anything. To get in you can just tap your Apple wallet or visa or whatever, no hassle at all. I also enjoyed it being only a short walk to the Temple of Heaven Park which was my favorite part of the trip! You get free water in the room and the room was pretty nice! Had everything we needed just for a 5 day trip, we didn’t need much except a place to sleep.

The lift and corridors are a bit outdated but I didn’t have an issue with it besides aesthetics. I’d definitely stay there again.

It wasn’t the most visually appealing place, and the bed was extremely hard.

It was a in a quiet street with a lot of local restaurants nearby. It is also next to a couple of tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful.

Near to temple of heaven, not too far from Tiananmen Square. Food facilities are quite close by. Quiet. The cleaning crew especially a Ms Wang ensured about our needs.
