Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

KazakhstanThe staff at the restaurant however don’t speak English, only the young ones could try and help translate but they’re not usually there during breakfast time. So bring your own translator if you need to ask for sugar or forks, but it’s expected so I wouldn’t say it affected my stay in any way as they try to attend all you needs regardless of the language barrier which is so sweet.
Great value for its price, best option for solo traveler on a budget for a short stay. As for couples the rooms as mentioned are on a smaller side, but if you don’t plan to stay in the room whole day it’s fine. I stayed with my mom for three nights and had no problem, considering how small Asian hotels can be this one is alright. We had two hand luggages and only one could be fully opened. But there are shelves where you can keep your clothes. Hotel provides free fruits and drinks 24/7 and “snacks” during the evening, but I’d call it full on dinner, which is great option for those on a budget or just someone who’s lazy and tired after long day of sightseeing and don’t wanna bother finding place to eat (pics of freebies attached) Breakfast is decent as well, different everyday which is good too. The staff is very attentive and use translation apps for communicating, so you won’t have problems with that at the reception.

IranThe rooms were a bit small, which might not be ideal for everyone. If you prefer more space, booking a suite could be a better option for a more comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast could have been better with more variety and options to choose from.
This hotel is exceptional in every way! The location is perfect, with easy access to key attractions and public transportation. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good, but it could have been more comprehensive with additional options. One great perk is the availability of free hot drinks and snacks in the lobby, and in the evenings, they even provide a light bite to enjoy. The cleanliness and amenities are top-notch, making it a truly comfortable experience. The only thing to note is that the room sizes are slightly smaller than standard, but if that’s not an issue for you, this hotel is absolutely perfect! Highly recommended!

PeruIt was supposed to be near Metro Station, but the entrance is quite far. Have to walk for about 10 minutes to get there. Rooms are really small. If you go with carry on's is okay, but if you have 1 or more luggages turns uncomfortable.
Gives you a nice welcome water bottle. Also, gives you some free food every night and you can take all the sodas you want.

GermanyThe hotel is conveniently located near the Dajiaoting Subway Station, as the name suggests, and is newly refurbished. The room itself was on the smaller side, compared to Western Hotels but it had everything needed and was super modern, neat and tidy. The staff was very kind and hospitable. They also have a gym and a laundry room in the facility. I would definitely choose Jingli Hotel next time I will visit Beijing!

United KingdomWe checked in fairly late at night and headed up to our room expecting it to look like the pictures on the booking as we were tired and wanted to head straight to bed. However upon entering our room, it was tiny, dirty and looked nothing like the pictures. We hardly had enough space to put our luggage or move around the room. Dust and dirt was everywhere. We even found fake eyelashes outside our door. When we complained, the staff had to explained to us that this room was apparently an upgraded room and wasn’t even our original room, so our original room must’ve been even smaller, yet again nothing like the pictures, leaving us disappointed. We then had to pay 100 yuan extra for a room upgrade after complaining, the staff wasn’t very friendly about this part. The upgraded room was slightly better but again didn’t look as good as our booking picture (we booked the cheapest room on booking.com). Again this room was very dusty and dirty. We shortened our stay to one night and moved to the Hilton Hotel near The Temple of Heaven for the same price and a much more clean and comfortable stay.
Staff were friendly. Location wasn’t bad.
