Excellent location in a traditional hutong, just 15-20 mins walk from Dongzhimen metro station (which is on the Capital Airport Express trainline and from which some Great Wall tours leave) and 5-10 min walk from Beixinqiao metro station. If you use the Apple Maps app it is not difficult to find. The hotel location is just off Guijie St, which has plenty of eateries. Walking distance from Lama temple. Room was very small but clean and had everything we needed. Shower was really nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our luggage in storage after check-out and picked it up later in the afternoon for our evening flight.

    Nothing all was great

It was in an old area of Beijing (Hutong) and away from the busy City area and yet very close to restaurants which was great! There was also FREE linen washing service which was truly amazing. The staff were sooo amazing and super helpful in arranging taxis, tours, restaurant booking even fund transfer and all with a lovely smile. They all went above and beyond what they had to do I cannot highly recommend them enough!!! Will definitely go back and stay.

The staff speaks no English. It’s okay, but keep you translate app ready, if you need to clarify things.

If you stay here, you will stay in a authentic Beijing neighborhood. The hotel is directly located inside a hutong, but has everything you need. The staff is friendly and laundry is for free. Furthermore, there is complimentary water as well as Coca Cola and sprite. I stayed over one week there and would always come back.

The room doesn't have enough space for storage, eg, cloth hanger, or small cabinet, shelf for luggage or just for put small things.

Unfortunately, my booking doesn't include breakfast. Location is great, it is close to food, metro, and many places is in the distance of walking. The staff is nice, helpful and polite. It has a beautiful yard. The room is quiet and clean.

the only drawback is the ill-thought-out structure of the bathroom in the room. The bathroom and toilet are in one cabin. During the shower, the entire cabin, including the toilet, was flooded. Despite poor level of English, employees always have an electronic translator ready.

Very convenient location, although difficult to find the first time. The hotel staff are hospitable, always available, everyone tries to help as much as they can, some are exceptionally helpful and even went far beyond the call of duty to support us with our needs and random requests. The hotel itself is clean, well-kept, spacious with a nicely arranged patio. Clean rooms, room service every day, clean towels, bottled water, tea delivered to the room every day.

Located in a hutong, our taxi (from airport) dropped us at the main road (Guijie) instead of driving us to doorstep through the narrow hutong street; it takes about 5-7mins to walk in.

Lots of fruits and free drinks which are topped up everyday. Very near to Guijie (fabulous food street) and within convenient distance to subway station. There is a washing machine and dryer in the reception, free for guest use.

The location in Google Maps / Apple Maps and the address itself, saved in the Booking.com is wrong, so you can easily get lost and fear that it's a scam. Fortunately, the hotel exists, but the staff should adjust the location. Speaking about staff - There should be at least 1 english-speaking person on guard.

The room was really nice and clean. The bathroom was well-equipped, including the amenities. There's an impressive courtyard belonging to the hotel.

The room space is tiny. (but it's Beijing, could understand). It would be very useful if staffs could be trained to have more up-to-date practical information about travelling in Beijing (although they were very nice to help in searching information during our stay.)

The location is very good, walking distance to Guijie, but situated in a quite Hutong. Close to metro station, easy to go to anywhere. The hotel facilities are very good, equipped with wash machine and dryer. The patio is very nice. Staffs are very kind.

Room was very small, but ok for a night and the comfortable bed made up for it.

Clean and neat, modern, comfortable beds. Friendly staff, communication with a bit of English and translation app worked well. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. Central location, close to metro station, food options etc. yet in a quiet and authentic Hutong. We were able to store our luggage after checkout. The address from booking showed up a bit wrong, but probably because we were using Google maps. You just turn into the Hutong and continue straight on the street.

The staff did not have any English and translator app wasn’t always accurate. The plastic shower head fell from its hook and landed on tiles and broke which was not my fault but they still made me pay for it. Staff were no help booking taxi when leaving, another guest helped me. I messaged them a couple of days before we arrived and asked them to send address in Chinese so I could show taxi driver, this worked for him getting us to hotel as it is very difficult to find.

It was a great experience to stay in a traditional Hutong and it was beautifully renovated. The courtyard was lovely to sit and eat in. The rooms were very clean and modern but compact.

1st day arrival, one lady at the front counter was extremely rude. She looks senior and likely to be the manager. When I asked her on any tour to Great Wall, she told me off bluntly and asked me to find it out myself. Horrible service. However, the more junior male front desk staff (3 of them) are very helpful and nice. Also, the hotel room is extremely small. Insufficient space to walk after putting in 2 luggage. Have to put luggage on the bed. Not value for money. Expensive to pay for such a small room. Will not book this hotel again due to the miserable small room even though the location is good.. This is the usual feedback. Stayed for 7 nights but luckily spent most of the time out exploring Beijing. Discovered there is another nice bigger modern hotel at hutong 2 streets away and will definitely go for it next time.

Excellent location near train station and airport train with a taste of Beijing old Hutong. .
