This place is sooo amazing 🤩 it is a Tibetan inspired stay, it’s clean 5⭐️ (not dusty,did not trigger my sinus ⭐️) clean bed sheets. the highlight is it has a heated bed and floor which is god sent during snow or cold weather. Toiletries and towel provided, has a kettle in the room and some candy. Good shampoo and body wash. The location is strategic, near the ancient town, lot of food shops, walking distance The owner is so charming (and handsome like a movie star 🌟 haha) he is able to communicate in English, and he is so kind to pick us and drop us at the train station early morning 🥹 -No insects seen during my whole stay -No paranormal activity 😆

The husband and wife team is very helpful and friendly. The home cook breakfast was so tasty, and the owner prepare good latte with beautiful latte art for us! The room is clean, floor heating keeps us warm. Everything is perfect!

The hosts were so lovely, and helpful. Providing tea whenever we came back to the hotel and giving us some freshly baked cakes to sample. The first hotel I’ve been it which provides shawls and hats for guests to borrow. The room was big, and very comfortable.

As often in China, sound insulation (especially at the doors) is weak.

A wonderful welcome by this nice young couple who has beautifully transformed this old, wooden house into an oasis of calm in the old city of Shangrila. Bedding and showering are also very pleasant.

Within 10min of Walking, we could reach every angle of the ancient city. Furthermore, the room was spacious and comfortable with a charming wooden touch. But most of all, Gin and his staff made our stay memorable with their very helpful and generous manner.

Exceptional customer service by Mr Lee. Free loan for the cowboy hat and scarf for cold wear, complimentary tea and coffee as well. Even made a cheese cake for us to bring on the morning train. Excellent location. Food and shops are within minutes walk

There’s no door to the toilet, just a curtain which got us freezing after showers But other than that there’s really no complaints

The hotel is so pretty and the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Just a short walk to the main shopping street with lotsa food options. Rooms were tastefully decorated with views. The floor has heating and there’s electric blankets as well to keep us warm AND 3 ADORABLE CATS

Close to old town centre but far away enough from the bars so it remains quiet during the night. Staff was extremely helpful and helped to order medicine when my sister was unwell with altitude sickness in the middle of the nigh.

The rooms on the ground floor really lack privacy, one even looks onto the dining room which is awkward and the only way to block it blocks the light source. It looks like the booking page is getting updated so it is clearer what kind of room you book so the customer is more clear on what kind of room they are getting.

Staff are so kind and go out of their way to make you feel immediately at home and help make sure you have a great trip. I arrived knowing only a little about the area but was set up on a hiking trip to Abuji Lake, got help renting a scooter to explore and also get help planning trips around the area. Excellent base location and really good facilities. The beds were comfortable and electric blankets worked really well. They helped make my trip in Shangri-la! There’s the added bonus of two great dogs in property, cuddly puppies and a kitten. Really a home away from home.

The room was a bit stuffy and the beds were a bit hard.

We liked the helpful staff. They were so attentive and made check in easier. The location was also very close to the main square and monastery. This made getting around much easier. The rooms are rustic but quiet. No tv but it was not needed.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, the staff were super friendly. Especially 曹亚军 who took me on a sunrise hike and showed me around the town. Would definitely recommend and stay again 😊

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with everything that my friend and I needed. They were very friendly and gave great tips on what there was to see around Shangri-la. I got sick due to altitude sickness and they took great care of me and made sure that I got everything I needed to feel better. The hotel also HS a café part attached to it and the food and environment there is superb! The bed was nice and cozy and had an electric heater on the mattress in case you got cold at night. It's a shame I had to cut my trip short due to altitude sickness but it was a lovely stay.

Comfortable, clean, great location. Hotel staff were top notch! They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about local recommendations and even walked us to our destinations a few times! 10/10 Highly recommend
