I like the environment so much!

The hotel decoration impressed us. Room is spacious for three people. The heating light on the ceiling of the bathroom is very useful to keep a guest warmed after showering. Staff is supportive, especially give our sincere thank to Ms.Zhang Siu Yu (张梦妤) who arranged the shipping of lost and found items to our next destination in the journey.

Smell of smoke can be strong at times. But the rooms have aircon which helps a lot.

The place very comfy and relax. Our pleasure to have such a friendly host. Upon confirmation, they contacted us directly, share to us some travel tips and suggestions. Their staffs friendly and helpful. The room also clean and tidy. One the of the best staycation ever!

There is no elevator (as far as I know) but they’ll help you with the luggages in case needed.

Location Very nice room and clean (great shower) Availability of the staff, they helped us a lot on several things (from renting a motorbike to find a drive to Shangri-la and suggest a delicious restaurant)

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, the people working there are very friendly, enthusiastic and hard working. It was more than I could ever ask for. The environment and how the place was set up was obviously very well thought through, which made the place so much more homelike and relaxing. I highly recommend if you or your little travel group need somewhere relaxing to stay. It is not only a comfortable and clean place to rest but also offers a chance to meet new people and learn about the culture here in Dali.

Owner extremely helpful in all requests. Reached out to me way ahead of my arrival and provided a lot of travel tips. Great suggestions for alternative site seeing places due to the raining weather and adapts to our special interests. I fully trusted and relied on his suggestions. Also very helpful in providing transportation to next destination city. Great breakfast and specially tailored for vegetarian needs, extremely friendly shef Mengshu, we completely felt home.

I loved the decorations in the hotel, very comforting and peaceful . There were beautiful plants everywhere and a fish pond on the ground floor. The staff was very helpful and helped us to arrange a trip to the Snow Mountain . Location was perfect , walking distance to many touristic attractions as well as a foot & back massage center , hair salon and restaurants.

The staff were absolutely amazing, extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. Really helped me with everything! They were so lovely, even bringing fruit and soup to my room. Helped me find a Covid testing place and organised a driver to Lijiang. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean! Fantastic location too. Would stay here again if I visit Dali 😁

Nothing not to like!

We didn’t expect much, and it was over our expectations! A peaceful location next to the mountain paths and the old Dali city, next to the restaurants. And the room is clean, comfy, as well as the hotel itself. Very easygoing !

I liked everything about the hotel!

I loved everything about this hotel! We went to Lijiang and came back to Dali and stayed here again. The owner is so nice and so helpful and made our stay much easier!

The owner was very friendly. When he heard I had a stomach illness I caught in Kunming, he sent medicine to the room and would often check up on how I was feeling. Location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful. They also make delicious rice nooldes for breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

We liked everything.

Tom the owner/ manager was excellent and spoke English. The location is literally across the road from ancient city walls which is better because 1. a taxi can get you straight to the door and 2. it was less busy. breakfast was pleasant and again Tom and his family tried to cater to our needs.

The hotel owner prepared tasty breakfasts for us. They were were simple - usually homemade bread with eggs and some fruit - but a good start to the day. The hotel owner was so helpful to us - giving advice and help in regard to excursions, Covid testing and restaurants

We had the room facing the street and it was really noisy at night, could hear people talking loudly. No elevators so have to climb up and down 3 levels to the room but thankfully the staff carried our luggage up for us when we checked in. The ancient town was pretty nearby but not as close as it seemed on the map but that’s fine.

The place is so pretty and the staff that helped us check in were really friendly and helpful. Recommended us places to go and where to eat at

We really didn't like much about the hotel; overpriced and the quality of the room was just so so.

We thought it was way overpriced for what we received. We got a room at a 5 star hotel in Kunming for the same price we paid here, but that hotel was far better in terms of service and the quality of the room.

The personnel was kind but not really helpful, and they don’t speak English very well.

The hotel is nice, but the bedroom was small and without charm, even if it was really clean and convenient. The localisation was good.
