We loved everything about the hotel- from the convenient central location at a charming historical alley, through the cleanliness and comfort of the room and all the nice compliments, such as free bottles of water, tee, coffee and small snacks, to the friendly and efficient staff. The manager Dana speaks excellent English and was there to answer any question we had, give an advice or even order a taxi for us. At checkout we were surprised with a small personal gift for each of us, which was also a very nice touch! Definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

This hotel was way better than I expected. The location is absolutely amazing—everything is within easy reach, making it perfect for exploring. The staff is incredibly helpful, and a special shoutout to Bob, who was always friendly and ready to assist with anything. His kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a dislike, but just good to know that taxi or didi won’t drop you off in front of the hotel as it is on a no cars street. But it is only a 2 min walk from the road to the hotel

The location is perfect. Close to the bell and drum tower. A lot of action in the neighborhood, with street food, small stores and bars close by. The team at the hotel was very helpful and they use translation apps to clearly communicate with you. Special thanks to Lucy, she went above and beyond to help me throughout the trip with all my questions.

The hotel lift doesn’t go to our ground so we have to bring our luggage up a flight of stairs.

The hotel is located along Nanluoguxiang pedestrian street. Our room has an outdoor balcony which is really nice. The hotel is a short walking distance from the Nanluoxiang train station. Many eateries within walking distance. The hotel offers free laundry services but you need to check to ensure you receive all the clean laundry. We lost a few clothings.

This hotel is located at a touristic walking street with a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops. Also Starbucks is located literally next door. Subway station is 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel and the Forbidden City is 30-40 minutes. Also this hotel has a great personnel. Special thanks to Bob, who helped us to call taxi to airport during the night and walked us to it. There is no way we could have done it ourselves. The room itself was very cosy. We had a terrace with a great view in our room as well as special place to drink tea and there was a teapot with tasty tea in this place.

- It’s a bit far from the metro station. Bus stop is a bit closer - The toilet flush doesn’t work very well, not cloggled, but very weak

- Very friendly and helpful staff. Lynn helped me buy some warm clothes as I was too cold to even go outside. They speak english and help in any way they can. - Bed is comfortable, mini fridge in the room, good shower. - Free cold water, hot tea, some snacks and laundry. - Lots of food options around

Only the first day when.we look for the hotel.was hard to.found coz there wasn't a sign out there that you can.easily see. We went to another hotel of the same name where 15,20 mins walk distance with 2 luggage's and a kid.

Great location in the midst of the busy hutong, surrounded by many food stalls and shops. Yet, the bedroom was very quiet. So very close to ancient sites, very easy to see the culture of the city, and it must be one of the best hutong areas. Loved the free laundry service. All staff including Bob, Tina, Susan & Lynn were so friendly & helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations as well as advice on how to use the Beijing Subway. We felt the warmth and kindness of their hospitality.
