Very good place, close to the all sightseeing. Big room, comfortable bed, very quiet place with a good view on the river. The host-David, speaks good English and can help you organise day trips to the rice terraces or boat trip.

The owner David is very helpful he booked all my activities and airport drop off for me and event drop and pick me up from the night cruise. The place is very convenient and I walked to Elephant Hill Park before heading to the airport in the morning. They provided me with late dinner and early breakfast as needed. I really appreciate all he did for me!

Not tatami style of bedding( more suitable for younger people, but not oldies like me) there are normal beds but I was not allocated for one.

Everything was good.

Very good place. Really familiar atmosphere, David help me with a lot of stuff, searching touristic places and booking tickets for tour and transports. They make a delicious food and the best dumplings you ever try. The location is really beautyful, just in the side of the river, with a cool view and a supernice terrace. The room was big and supercomfortable. Raccomended place if you want to chill and just near to all the touristic places in Guilin.

The hotel is near the central railway station and a short walk from Elephant Trunk Hill and the lakes, so it is a really convenient base. Plus you have a view of the river which is also nice. The room is not too fancy, but it is spacious and comfortable. David was helpful, he can help you with the logistics of your stay. Food was also nice. If I come back to Guilin, I know where to stay!

David is an excellent host!! Great English, good local knowledge and very helpful if you need a VPN to navigate around Chinese Google account restrictions. Kitchen puts out some awesome food also!! Highly recommend this place!!😎😎

David was an incredibly welcoming host, going out of his way to help with making taxi/daytrip bookings and offering recommendations on local spots to visit. The view over the river was great and could also be enjoyed whilst eating delicious dumplings downstairs! Location is also a bonus, just a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill.

A wonderful scenery in front of my window didn't leave me untouched. Such a wonderful place to meet sunrise with a great sight on a river. A wonderful host with great chefs in the kitchen.

We recommend staying here. The owners were very nice and helpful, they showed us immediately after arriving what you can do in the city and what you can see for free. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, good wi-fi, working air conditioning, hot water in the bathroom. We recommend trying the hand-made dumplings owner, they are delicious, inexpensive and serve large portions. On the terrace, you can often find 3 very cute cats that are just waiting to be stroking. The owner speaks good English.

The location is good and you can reach everything in walking distance. The room was as described and the owner helped us plan our days. The whole family was very kind and they have cute cats. We really recommend trying the dumplings there- they were really good!

David and his wife are great people always willing to help, very friendly and always giving the best advice about the places to visit around. We stayed for 2 nights and David helped me to organise all for the 1 day cruise trip through the Li river as well as the breakfast to go, which I highly recommend!! His wife makes the best dumplings ever! They also offer American breakfast if you want and good coffee. They have a small but nice terrace with river view and 4 lovely cats 😻 also they have an Indian restaurant. The hotel is well located.
