The staff is great, very helpful and kind. The location is perfect, it's quiet and beautiful, there is a wonderful lake just across from the hotel and a wonderful view of the mountains from the 5th floor. There are plenty of shops around. The breakfast included was consistent and delicious. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were nice details all around the hotel, the place was interesting and tastefully decorated. The place for the tea ceremony was also a very special point. I highly recommend the place

Hotel decorated with good taste craft objects and art pieces. The furniture is traditional and good quality. The breakfast is served in a floor with view to the park. Good location, walking distance to the interesting places. The staff speaks fluent English. They helped us speaking with the Chinese telecom company when had a problem with the sim card.

This hotel is gorgeous! Stepping inside feels like one has time-traveled to a different era. Wood, stone, tile, carvings, paintings, and sculpture abound. The setting is elegant, serene with a warm and welcoming staff who are engaging and quick to accommodate the traveler’s needs. Even though we arrived late, they arranged a tea tasting for us later that night, with Rose who taught us about the proper way to drink tea, and gave us wonderful information about the area. Before we arrived, we had communicated with the Aroma staff and they arranged a fabulous tour of the Longji Rice fields for us and even organized a very early breakfast with the cooking staff so that we eat before being embarking on the tour. We really appreciated the unique and traditional Chinese style and atmosphere of The Aroma Tea House. The room furnishings were exquisite and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the window seat tea bench - a perfect place to to start the day with a cup of tea. The breakfast featured both the famous Guilin rice noodles and also Western style choices in a rooftop salon. There are several outside patios, one with covered seating. The hotel offers laundry service - welcome benefit on a long trip. Another great asset is that The Aroma Tea House is right in the heart of Guilin, across from Ronghu Lake, walking distance to many sights. Guilin is a magical city. The climb to the top of the Karst hill at the Prince’s Palace at sunset is stunning. Karst scenery is the backdrop to a diverse and decorated skyline. Once darkness arrives, the city comes alive with lights everywhere and the iconic Sun and Moon Temples towering over the water create a carnival for the eyes. Musicians and dancers spill out along the walkways. We wished we had allowed more time in Guilin to enjoy the generous hospitality of The Aroma Tea House. We highly recommend this beautiful and unique hotel. One of a kind!

The room was clean and quite large, very comfortable and nice! The hosts were so wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. They speak English well and gave us ideas about things to do and see in Guilin. Good location, walkable to all the sights! Also helped us book a ferry to Yangshuo and arranged a ride to the pier which would have been confusing if we tried to do it ourselves.

- The lady behind reception was super helpful. She made sure we got our Didi’s ok and we were not overcharged, explained the best way for us to get to the rice terraces, held our luggage for 24hrs whilst we travelled to that location for a night and even lent us an umbrella to take with us! - The room was spotless and very cozy with a beautiful tea station to sit at. - It was quiet at night and a good central location to walk to the Pagodas from.

I have only good words about this hotel and the personnel. The personnel arranged pick up for me, provided with a map and recommendations to see and do in Guilin, and organized a boat tour on Li river. The room was spectacular- I took pictures to show it to my friends ;) one of the best stays in a hotel in my life. Try Chinese breakfast- famous Guilin noodles are being served.

I don’t think I have

The location is perfect. Just 10 minutes walking to the famous park and the walking street. Also the breakfast is amazing with lots of options and it tastes great. Since we had a early trip so need have breakfast earlier, they accommodated for us and made a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone will be in Guilin. Their view is awesome too, I like the zen style design of the room
