Very nice place, super friendly and helpful host. I totally recommend it to anyone, whether you travel alone or with friends/family. I was alone and didn’t have much idea what to do in Kashgar, the host organised everything for me and I also made new friends in the hostel! Location is around 30 min walk from ancient city of Kashgar.

Amazing experience in Kashgar. We enjoyed staying a local place to get an authentic experience. The facilities were great. Ella was an amazing host who helped us with our itinerary, travel arrangements and tickets. Highly recommend for any foreign tourists.

Our stay was perfect there! :) The house is really nice from inside 👌 and Ella and other staff are super helpful with everything, we even had a "good bye" party and a lot of fun! We would have enjoyed to stay longer than 2 nights. :)

The hostel can be difficult to find in the dark of late night or early morning. You only need 1 or 2 nights in Kashgar really, it's a antiquated place. Tashkurgan is a must to visit even if for a short time, try organise to stay longer. I ran out of time because the office was closed for a day. This is not the fault of the hostel staff though. Just want to give other travellers heads up about it. Because the more time you can be in Tashkurgan the better.

This place is a great place to hang and relax and enjoy Kashgar. The hostess is very knowledgeable and will help you organise your travels. This place is really good for active travellers.

My stay couldn’t have been better

My stay was absolutely excellent, I could not ask for more! The hostel feels very homely and the host is so friendly! She went out of her way, and then some, to make sure I was looked after - waking up at 5am to call me a taxi to the airport. Location is great, about 20mins walk to the “old” city, but the local village is much more interesting in my opinion. Great local eateries within minutes of walking. Amazing value.

This has been one of my favourite hostels after months on the road. Ella, the hostel boss, is so inviting and effortlessly funny; you’ll never have a boring moment here! It’s away from the old city so you’ll see a glimpse of real Kashgar life — the neighbourhood kids love to come over and hang out everyday. If I’m ever back in this area, I’ll have to come back to Kashgar, just to visit this place again.

Best hostel in town, we travel by bike and were welcomed by the very kind Ella who found room for us and our bikes even though it was full. Throughout our stay there was a beautiful group atmosphere in the hostel, it was a great few days.

everything was perfect

This is my home on kashgar. The hostel is very clean, cosy, comfortable and the owner is a fantastic lady, funny and very kind and she makes you feel home. She is also very helpful and try every effort to give you good advice about what to do on the city and the surroundings. The position is good. not too far by walk from the old city and from some good restaurants in the neighbourhoods.

This review was written for a professor I helped book the room for. He was unable to leave a review on his own. This was my second time staying in this international hostel. Due to my being an architect professor, as soon as I saw the decorations and interior, I knew I had to.stay here. At first I thought it was professionally done, but after talking to the boss, found out she did it herself. At this hostel, they have free breakfast and fruit, in addition to beddings. If you need anything, the boss will go the extra mile to help you. She helped me arrange a meeting with a Kashi University professor, really helping in my work. I was also able to make friends with people from around the world. It has a very strong family vibe. Next time I hope tobmaybe bring my students to this hostel.

I am from Europe, and I am not yet used to the Asian style squatting toilets. The toilets and the showers are combines which for me took some time to get used to. Nothing wrong with it if you are used to it!

I really liked my stay here! I am a solo traveler by bike and came to Kashgar to relax a bit. The facilities are very clean and you can wash your clothes here! They have AC in the dorm rooms, and the beds are basic but quite comfortable. A highlight is the owner! She is very helpfull and has many usefull tips for exploring the city. We even had a Karaoke night at the hostel.
