The staff haven't done the hikes in the area so they didn't really had tips for that. So my tip to them is: go do the hikes yourself so you can help your guest more :)

The hotel is in the middle of the old town but it's still a quiet oase at the hotel. The room is big, clean and the beds are amazing! The staff added me on WeChat and answer every question I had. The helped me so much, also with planning the Tiger Leaping Gorge. And they are really flexible because I could easily book another night (because I loved it so much there).

Lighting in the room could have been brighter for easier reading, but this is personal preference.

The hotel is in good location within the ancient city and near to good little shops, restaurants and bars. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful making our stay pleasant. They also helped us pulling our heavy luggage using trolley between the taxi drop-off at the south gate and the hotel which is quite a distance.

The bedroom was very clean and modern looking. Coupled with the authentic old looking exterior, it really made our stay special. The inn is located in the heart of the old town with food and shopping options nearby. The staff were really helpful in bringing our luggage from the edge of the old town to the inn. They also helped us to book tours and car rides around Lijiang, and were very open in recommending sightseeing spots. Free unlimited mineral water for the guests as well. Breakfast is simple but authentic Chinese food - delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Lijiang as the price is not only affordable but the service and experience was great. Plus point is that there’s is a cute dog at the door to greet all the guests. Thanks Mr Joye and team for a really memorable stay.

It was all wonderful. The location was perfect, in the middle of the old town. We were organized transfers at reasonable prices and we were picked up including luggage at the gates of the old town. The staff is super nice and helps with all kinds of questions (even about other cities). The dog was super nice and fluffy.

From the moment I've confirmed my booking with this property, Mr. Joye, the owner of the hotel has being very helpful. Luckily, he can speak English very well, thus our communication became easy. He even helped me to book the tour package to Blue Moon Valley, The Snow Mountain and the Impressions of Lijiang. And, Mr.Joye's team also got up at the crack of dawn to prepare breakfast for us and to bring us at the pick up point for the tour. We can't thank enough to Mr.Joye and his team! - One of the best memory in Lijiang! The hotel is located strategically in the heart of Lijiang Old Town. People might think it is difficult to find it because Lijiang Old Town is huge and there are so many alleys but trust me, it's not that difficult and in fact it is quite easy to find it. The owner provides all the necessary amenities, the room is clean n comfort and they even helped us with our luggage upon arrival and during departure from their property. Thus, you won't get lost the first time you arrived in Lijiang Old Town. The staff are all friendly and they have an adorable husky dog as the 'bodyguard' at the entrance of the property.

They might consider making the entryway a little nicer. It doesn't make the best first impression, but other than that I don't have any suggestions.

This is a great little boutique hotel in the old town. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They set up drivers for private tours. FYI don't set up tours online ahead of time. The price seems to be about 5x what it is if you set it up from there or from the hotel. The price to quality of this hotel is very good. The AC worked well. The room was clean and comfy.

The walls between room were very thin. Hence we could hear a lot of door shutting sound.

The host was friendly, helpful and very responsive to all needs and request. The toilet has a damp smell which cannot be gotten rid off, and it gets a but too strong sometimes. Inside the old town and the staff waited for me at the old town gate and used a stroller to carry my suitcase to the hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They helped me to arrange tours to fit in my schedule. It saved my time and had more time to relax and enjoy my vacation. The staff, 學平，bought me breakfast and escorted me to the pick up place, so the tour driver would picked me up. The services were belong the standard (5 stars hotel) service. There was a washer for laundry too.👍👍

Personally I would prefer the meal area to be a non-smoking area as I am allergic to it. (But other people doesn't seem to mind it. So it's ok)

The hospitality was amazing from all the staff, from the vibrant Mr. Joye who gladly arranged all our transportation, to the girl who patiently (thank you!) answered all my questions and let me feed the dog (she can speak Japanese!), to the Naxi origin chef who prepared us breakfast. She was beaming with happiness to share about her background and that made me smile. Basically all the staff there were very welcoming oh I mustn't forget Hot Dog the huge dog. He is so gentle Another thing that I liked was the location of this stay. It is not as crowded or noisy as the other place I stayed within the old town of Lijiang. Their staff assisted us with our luggage too.

Staffs there are so welcoming. The owner prepared hot breakfast for us and you can tell he did it with passion and joyous. We like Le the papa dog and LiuLiu the kid dog (he is not small at all). All in all, love the people there.

Excellent location in the old town, the hotel has traditional architecture and the rooms are very beautiful. But the highlight was the excellent service, all the personnel was friendly and polite ready to fulfil anything we asked. Also Joye speaks excellent english and helped us book a local driver to visit several places which was very convenient. We had an excellent time in lijiang due to their help.

The staircase. Not friendly for elderly. Probably should fix a wall light to brighten the stairway. No problem with young traveler. Not a big deal.

Warm and friendly staff. They prepare brekky everyday. Mr. Zhang was up at wee hours packing food for my family for our next journey, I was very touched and grateful to him. All the staff are like family and very welcoming. The room was clean and well facilitated.
