Modern, clean and comfortable hotel in Tangkou village 20 mins walk from the South entrance where the shuttle buses are. Friendly and helpful staff with a nice communal area with coffee, bar, and a few Western food options. The rooms are lovely and relaxing, wifi was pretty decent throughout our stay too. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were super helpful and the location was perfect. The staff picked us up from the bus station, and helped us book a car tour of nearby towns for when we checked out. They answered all our questions and made our stay very enjoyable.

Everything was great

Only 10 min from the huangshan shuttle bus, the location is perfect. It is about an hour from Huangshan North train station but they can help you arrange getting to and from the hotel if you message. The owner speaks English and was extremely friendly and helpful with us planning our route. He also suggested trips in the surrounding area on the days where there were thunderstorms and strong winds on the mountain. Lots of food and supermarkets in the area, and steps from the hotel you get an amazing view of Huangshan on the horizon. They also upgraded our room to one with a balcony since we booked in advance. They have an extensive drink menu and a few food items if you don't feel like leaving the premises. Lots of room to hang out in the lobby, they have some games and even an acoustic guitar. Free laundry as well. Next time we come to huangshan we would stay nowhere else!

Staff were so happy, helpful, and fun to talk to. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Perfect location for a visit to the mountains. We stayed two nights, spent one full day on the mountain, and took their recommendations to visit the nearby waterfall and yummy bakery before leaving. I especially loved hanging out in the lobby where they played lovely music and staff socialized with us. (Pro tip; try as many teas from the lobby as you can!) Stay here!! You will be so happy you did!! ❤️

Tim and partner were very helpful. They speak English fluently and they guide us for our trip to Huangshan mountain. Tim was kind enough to wake up early and make us breakfast as we needed to get to the 1st bus. He even drop us off at the bus stop! 🥺 The hotel is clean and chill. Overall great experience!

Absolute greatest hotel I have been to in a while! It is very closeby for those, who plan on hiking to the yellow mountains. The facilities were super hip, had games, a comfy lounge and beautiful modern rooms. The owner is a true host - he went above and beyond for us. He knew we would hike, so in the morning of, he arranged some coffee, breakfast and bananas. He also helped us book our way back to another city by car, even being there for the farewell and bringing cookies. Overall we had the sweetest and most fun stay here! I'd recommend anyone to visit.

There was quite a bit of dust under the bed. Minor problem.

Super time at 0517. The hotel is perfectly set up for exploring Huangshan and other sites in the area. The staff are fully engaged in making sure you have a great time. The accommodation itself has an industrial/backpacker feel to it which I liked and is very different from most Chinese hotels. Highly recommended.

The place is cozy and comfortable. It’s very near to 南大门撑换点. Very convenient to stay for those who wants to go to huangshan scenic area the next day in the early morning. They also allow us to store our luggage there so that we do not have to bring all the luggage to the hills.

Owners were extremely friendly and could converse well in both mandarin and English. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome and we felt very taken care of here. They even went out of their way and gave us tips, bottles of water, and other essentials to ensure that our climb up the mountain was as smooth as possible. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely recommend!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in Tangkou, in a 10 minute walk to the South gate entrance to Huangshan mountain. We loved the area and the village, all very calmly and authentic. The staff were more than helpful! They spoke English very well, what it's really hard to find in China. We arrived by bus and they came to pick us up to the station. They also provided lots of info on the mountains and the options we had and they helped to arrange for a shared car for some excursions. The room was very comfortable and clean. We can only recommend it and hope to come back some day because our stay was really brilliant.

A very nice hotel with very good facilities and nice staff. The rooms are in a modern industrial design where I felt very comfortable. The biggest plus was that the owner was fluent in English and was able to transmit any information about transport and climbing the mountain. The prices for the overnight stay are absolutely fair. I would book it again at any time.

Tim the owner spoke English. Communication was great as I was able to ask him questions via WeChat and get quick replies. There is pickup service from the Huangshan bus stop. And he helped us arrange car service to our next destination. The boutique is located on the quieter side of town, but a 10 min walk would take you to the more touristy part of town.
