No fridge in the bedroom Breakfast provided was not impressive It was hard for the first time to find hotel because the hotel was in a little lane and the sign in front of the lane was in chinese (and it wasnt even in the same name that its shown in the website when i booked, so how they put the name also made it hard to find in the map as well. There was a point that I thought they might be a scam while I tried to find it from the map. However, it was a legit hotel, been there and quite like the hotel overall.

The location was great, in the middle of shopping area. You might have to walk for a bit because its on pedestrian road meaning no car or taxi could get in, but its still considered very convenient Staff are nice and friendly. The bedroom and bathroom ensuite was quite small but new and clean (The toilet in common area is not which is fine, but it could be better) The decoration in the hotel and common area was nice.

Like many hotels in China, there is smoking allowed somewhere on the property and that smoke often wafts into places where there is a vent like the bathroom. This is very common traveling in China, it’s something that is tough to get used to. The Pedestrian street it is on is bustling but we didn’t find much heart there. Just shops, that we have been seeing in many pedestrian streets on our travels.

By booking on booking.com I got a relatively good price for the accommodations for 2 nights for the location of the property. This property looks like it has been recently renovated and cute in a masculine way… cute 9th floor coffee/tea shop , great view from the rooftop. I loved the pictures they hung in the hallways and the historical images hung in the corridor that takes you into the hotel.

The whole building is so old and dirty. Smelly!! Especially the room toilet. Damn dirty and small. Feel like staying in a haunted room!

This hotel is really reliable, with clean and hygienic rooms, high-definition projection, delicious breakfast, and free video membership. It has a high cost performance ratio and has been the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in. I love the retro style of Xiguan, the breakfast is nutritious, the rooms are clean, and there is also free video membership, providing a satisfying experience.

Next time I come to Guangzhou, I will stay at this hotel again. It was newly renovated in 2024, and it looks very pleasing overall. The check-in process was also very quick, as I was really tired when I arrived at the hotel, and the front desk handled it in just a minute. Also, it comes with a streaming membership, which I really love.

The most prominent feature of the hotel is its decoration style, and taking photos of these windows is really not too beautiful. Next is the service. The service attitude here is the best I have ever seen. If you need to send something, just send a message and it will be delivered immediately. It's really great.

As soon as you enter, you'll see a hall full of artistic flavor, with a bar and a breakfast restaurant. The 9th floor is a private tea room. There is quiet and soothing music. It's really delightful to have a cup of tea and read a book here in the evening.

The laser projector in the hotel room is really amazing! Its image quality is super clear, colorful and high contrast, which can bring the ultimate visual enjoyment whether watching movies or processing work documents. It is also very simple to operate, and you can enjoy the pleasure of watching movies on a big screen with a single click. The noise of the projector is also well controlled, and there is almost no noise when it is used, which makes people more immersed in it.

This hotel I stayed at for short-distance travel is really good. The rooms are exquisite and everything is complete. The staff is good, and the breakfast is very satisfying. The decoration style of Xiguan in this hotel is so stylish. The rooms are decorated like ancient wealthy families, and it's super comfortable to stay here. I will stay here again next time! The bedding is soft and the service is thoughtful. I feel like I've traveled through time and I love this antique feeling.

The room is not particularly large, reportedly because the hotel is located in the oldest urban area of Guangzhou

The bedding in this hotel is really super soft, sleeping in it feels like being surrounded by clouds. The service is also impeccable, the staff are attentive and thoughtful. And the environment is antique and charming, it's really enjoyable to live here!
