Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was great. Just one thing maybe you can add some european breakfast options.
We like everything about this hotel! Stuff are very helpful. The room was perfectly clean and very new. The hotel is in a busy street but the rooms are very quiet. There’s a mcdonalds and supermarket next to the hotel. The stuff called taxi for us many times, if you need help they help a lot. Very kind and professionals.

ItalyThe staff was great, the room although a little small was really comfortable, and I really liked how they treated us, giving us water and fruit daily and helping us whenever we needed. The breakfast was also good and the position of the hotel was lit, near the subway and near the most famous clubs, and it was only a 20 minutes walk to Sanlitun main mall.

AustriaThe lift and the lobby smelled like garbage. Nobody spoke English and paying by card is difficult :-| Breakfast was in the basement, not worth going tbh. I went once in 5 days. Wifi is bad as everywhere in China
Modern rooms, very clean and comfortable beds. You get fruit and 2 water bottles everyday in your room which is nice. The hotel is close to the subway station and located next to a supermarket and a McDonald's

The service is excellent. We checked out in very early morning so that we had no change to have a breakfast. The person worked in the lobby prepare a whole bag of food: bread, yogurt, water and fruits. Very nice and warm!

IndiaSome of the rooms were really cramped, which is expected in Beijing, but still same category rooms were of different sizes. So it's purely based on luck. The toilet shower was broken in my room but nothing was done to fix it. Also, in one of the rooms, there was water leaking from the ceiling and room had a pungent smell. All they did about that was wipe out the water and no other room was provided. The breakfast option is very limited. There is no western options and only thing was eggs and it takes forever for the person to make them. Also, the lady staff there was very rude. No safe in the room.
That hotel is situated in a very good location. The staffs were really helpful even though they do not speak English. The place looks modern and classy since its a boutique hotel. They were constantly following up through messages before check in and since we were a group of 16 people, the check-in process was smooth.

FranceThere are quite a few area for improvement: -We got a free room upgrade but instead of having a nice street view it was just an extra terrace but facing the back building, we probably could have just changed it back but didn’t bother so not their fault, just wished that they didn’t make it sound like they were doing us a favour as I wouldn’t consider this as an “upgrade”. -They say they accept Amex but my card did not work (it worked fine in multiples places in Shanghai) which caused some inconveniences in the payment and made the moment quite awkward. -The lighting system in the room is very confusing. There is no way to control one specific light but only a set of lights, but not in a logical way. The mirror light and some sockets were not working so definitely need some renovation. -The smart toilet emits a continuous blue light, which unfortunately shines right through the glass wall in the bedroom. -There was a sewer smell in the shower, which is quite common unfortunately in China. -Absolutely nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom -Breakfast was not great, limited choice especially the continental side and the food was often cold. Very limited seating, to the point that we got offered to sit in a private dinning room that had not been properly cleaned, with some randoms trousers on the back of a chair and some loo-rolls hanging around. I usually never skip hotel breakfasts but really didn’t like the vibe of this one. -There is a free washing machine and dryer but BEWARE that the dryer doesn’t NOT work properly. We washed our clothes the morning before leaving and dried it for almost 3 hours on the highest setting and it still came out completely wet. Had to pack wet clothes to travel home. -The hotel felt overall a bit messy. The lobby is very cramped and you could see a bit of a mess behind their counter, which doesn’t give a general good image of their organisation. Overall our stay wasn’t terrible since we still slept comfortably, but I would not come...
Spacious room nicely decorated with art deco/asian fusion. Beds were super comfortable. Smart toilet with constantly heated seat and electric curtains which we loved. The room was also very luminous during the day and felt clean overall. WiFi was working fine but you do need a VPN to access the usual western social media. Complimentary beverages in the fridge on arrival which was also nice. Free little snacks and hot drinks in the lobby. Staff is friendly and courteous. The freshly cooked noodle station, which was the only nice thing about breakfast. Supermarket right next to the hotel was very convenient, and plenty of restaurants along the street including a McDonald’s. 5 minutes walk to the metro but rather long walk to the Sanlitun shopping centre. If it’s your first time visiting Beijing I wouldn’t particularly recommend this area as it’s not really interesting, though you can still reach all the main attractions by metro or bus in at least 20min.
