Property was almost a 20 minute walk from the entry gates, which was ok but was still tiring to do after a long day in the park!

Amazing hotel. Very clean, nice bathroom, very nice and high value hotel, especially for those looking for a western style hotel. Also comes with a washing machine. Really nice couple running the hotel! And in a really good location, ~15 walk to Zhangjiajie Park entrance

perfect Our room was upgraded and was kept warm prior to our arrival, which was greatly appreciated since it was quite cold outside. The lady owner was very attentive to our needs and questions as well. The location was within walking distance to the east gate of the national park, which was quite convenient. There are tons of eateries and supermarkets along Wuling Road, one could never run out of options. Highly recommend this hotel for exploring the national park.

The husband-and-wife owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we arrived late for breakfast at 9 AM (usual hours are 7-8:30 AM), they graciously prepared fresh meals for us without hesitation. Their extensive knowledge of Zhangjiajie was invaluable—they took the time to explain local attractions and provided detailed guidance to enhance our exploration. As we checked out, they surprised us with complimentary snacks for our journey, a thoughtful gesture that perfectly exemplifies their attentive service. While the hotel may be modest in size, it radiates warmth and genuine care for its guests. The owners treat you like family, making it an ideal base for exploring Zhangjiajie. This hotel is truly exceptional! It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the main entrance of the Avatar park. The lady at the reception was incredibly helpful, securing us tickets to the park at a price more affordable than those at the official gate—our passports served as our tickets, which was quite convenient. The breakfast, was made by the lady，very delicious more than sufficient to fuel our day. The rooms were spotless. Upon checking out, we were pleasantly surprised with gifts—a snack and a red envelope, adding a personal touch to our stay. The top-floor laundry room was an absolute lifesaver, especially after long hours of hiking, and the complimentary laundry soap was a thoughtful addition. The receptionist and her husband went above and beyond, allowing us to use the lobby bathroom for a shower even after we had checked out. I am thrilled that we selected this hotel over others due to its warm and friendly atmosphere. It has left me with very fond and lasting memories. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Wonderful stay. Comfortable, nice, clean room with everything you need. The owner is very friendly and helps you with everything. Breakfast is made by her at the moment and there are western options with bread, fruit and coffee. You can wash your clothes for free on the roof. 10 min walk from the park entrance and with many restaurants and shops nearby. For the price you pay, it is the best we have ever seen.

The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. They were so kind to provide us with snacks to be taken away when we check out early in the morning. They also provide tickets to some of the attractions at a cheaper price. Easy to find food, convenience stores and foot message around the area.

This is great a hotel! About 10min walk from the main entrance to the Avatar park. Lady at the desk helped to buy tickets to the park( it was cheaper thru her then official at the park gate. Everything worked. Our passports were the tickets) breakfast is nice, and enough to start the day. Rooms are clean. When checking out we received gifts . There is a laundry room on the top floor which was very very useful! Especially after hours of hiking! Laundry soap for free. Lady at the desk and her husband were very helpful. They even let us take a shower at lobby bathroom even though we checked out. I was very glad that we chose this hotel over others because the friendly kind atmosphere. Very good warm memories forever in my heart. Thank you!!!

The location is great, close to the center of the town and walking distance to the east gate of the park. There are lots of restaurants around. Breaskfast in hotel is super, with varieties for both Chinese and western style. Room is very clean and comfortable. The owner is very nice, provided us lots of details about the best plan to tour ZhangJiaJie Mountain.

We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, even with the tatami beds we felt that it was cozy and the bed was spacious for 2 person to roll around. The rooms are clean and had all necessities, they even provided welcome snacks and drink for us when we arrived, and gave us a bag of extra snacks when we left! There’s a laundry washing machine for free available on the top floor. The staff were very nice and friendly, they ensured that we have everything we need and made us feel very welcome. I saw her patiently using a translator app to help non-Chinese speaking foreigners too. The location is just nice 10mins walk from the bus station, and about 15-20mins walk to the entrance of the park. We would had loved to stay longer if we can! Super recommended++

There is nothing that needs improvement.

Really really sweet hosts who are very attentive to our needs, they always made sure that the room was clean with the toiletries and water bottles refilled every day. We arrived around 11am and usually other hotels wouldn't allow you to check in that early, but the host immediately gave us our room key and even gave us good recommendations on what we wanted should do in the region. Breakfast every day was also free and they always made sure we had enough. Room had decent sound isolation as well and even laundry was free. Sadly didn't take photos of the place but looked exactly like photos on the listing! Perfect place for a short trip to Zhangjiajie

We stayed 4 nights while visiting Zhangjiajie Forest Park. The location is very convenient and within 10 minutes walking distance to the Park. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores for your daily needs. Just awesome and will definitely recommend for other travellers.

The location is very convenient for travellers visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (walking 10 minutes), Baofeng Lake, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and Huanglongdong. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is an awesome restaurant 10 metres away serving the best local Tujia authentic foods at very reasonable price. We will definitely recommend this hotel to stay for other travellers. Thank you to the friendly service by Ms Lee. We stayed 4 nights.
