We wish that there could more variety of breakfast. The noodle soup and porridge and spicy pickled veggie are good local food. But some of my family prefer not spicy and easy to digest food.

The host is very responsive. We got picked up from the airport although the flight was delayed. We enjoyed the garden and the loft with Chinese harp. This is probably the nearest lodge from the airport.

Accommodation is quite far from the airport. Must have the driver pick you up. It's difficult to go by yourself if you don't have a personal car.

The toilet is translucent. Adds a little inconvenience if you go with friends. Pls check with the boss the commute time from the airport to their guesthouse before you book as there are some construction going on beside the current airport which may affect the duration of the car journey.

Once you enter the guesthouse, you will fall in love with the tranquility of the place. The place is not big. It is what you see in the picture with a small backyard and a kitchen. It is very near to kunming airport and the boss provides airport pick up and send off without any extra charge, no matter how early or late your flight is! It is an ideal place to use as a stopover if you have a plane to catch the next day!

Nothing it was perfect.

This place is so convenient for the airport with a taxi service included! It was a great 24 hour stop for me in between long haul flights and it was a relaxing oasis of calm. The owner Liu Jiyou couldn't have been more kind and helpful and it was a true pleasure to meet him. The guesthouse garden is truly beautiful. Will try to add more detail and pics later.

There aren't any touristy places nearby, but it's not a complaint for me since I'm transiting at the end of my journey so the peace is welcomed.

It's a comfortable and cosy little establishment run by a father and son team. Clean rooms, friendly hosts, and essential amenities are all within (very) short walking distances. It's situated within a tranquil town that feels essentially geared towards transit travellers, so if you have >24 hours to burn and you need to unwind and relax, this is 20 mins away from Chang Shui, and the team is ready to facilitate your to and forth airport transfers.

Unfortunately, the government is building another airport terminal so the road leading to this property is rather dusty and many huge construction vehicles moving around that whole area.

The rooms are very well decorated and amenities like slippers, shampoo etc are all supplied. The garden was tastefully done up. The hosts (son and his parents) are very friendly and helpful people. The arrangements for pickup from airport for our first stay and sending us to airport middle of the night for second stay … they honored them and we are very pleased with their service. For the trip from this property to airport middle of the night, the mother came to knocked on our door to ensure that we were up and in time for car pickup for the scheduled time. We really had a great time at this property.

Construction/demolition on the way to accommodation. Thought it was a war zone!

Location was ideal because near to airport. There was a lot of construction or rather demolition because the area will be used for extension of airport. Aunty cooked dinner for us even though we came in late. Very nice staff, airport transfers provided by guesthouse. Beautiful heritage building and garden. Well presented. will stay again. Good for airport locations accommodations.

There's a lot of construction on the way to the property which may worry some. But it's only 15mins to the airport so very convenient for short layovers.

Cute family run guesthouse. Good service. They organize Airport drop off for us and we had dinner there which was really nice. Very homely feel.
