AustraliaThe air-conditioner was not really operating at night which we queried with the staff. The temperature went up to 25-28’C in the middle of the night, and woke us up due to stuffiness. The two rooms next to us left their doors open most of the times probably due to the limited air flow and they were very noisy, affecting our sleep. This did not get resolved in the end as the air-conditioning is centralised and not operating during the season of our stay unless you stay during summer time when the air-conditioning will be turned on at night.
The location of the property is close to West Lake, LinYin Temple, and WuLin Square. It is also surrounded by lots of great food places. It also provides good variety breakfast and the two lady staff serving the breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. The young gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, he helped us with our AliPay App. The property provides laundry facilities and car park, they were the icing on the cake.

We took subway line 1 and stopped at Fengqi Road station. We exited D3 then walked 2 minutes to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by Sammy Xu, Su Xi, Wen Le at the 5th floor. We were explained how to get to West Lake. They are very nice and helpful. Sammy can speak English well. The location of the hotel is very good. Near our hotel, there are many restaurants, bakeries and shops. The walking time to the scenery West Lake from our hotel is 25 minutes. It is easy to get there on foot. The free buffet breakfast is very good, so many variety of Chinese food. Mian Hua helped us to check-out and the process was very fast. We left our luggage at the hotel and picked up later. We also borrowed two umbrellas from Mian Hua.

The room was great, a very modern decor and great views. The breakfast was varied and the baozi/zhaozi were freshly steamed - fresh noodle dishes were also made to order. Also the coffee was good. The pool table/ping pong area was a nicely relaxing layout and also there was a laundry area available.

FranceThe people in the reception don't really speak English, so the communication is done with automatic translators. When you enter in the room the TV and some music automatically go on. This is very annoying.
The hotel is very good. They upgraded my room to a better one and it was very big and nice. The location of the hotel is good, not far from the West lake and the old part of the city. The breakfast is good.

The location is hands down the best reason to book here. You're near main street and have everything close by. Not to mention a fantastic bakery at your feet. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The lighting was good, and the rooms are very high tech.
