The place is simple, but very well arranged and clean.

It was very convenient located near the bus station and the attractions. The host was fluent in English, and she was in contact with us before our arrival and help us with instructions to get to the place. She also helps us with the luggage. I appreciated that she warns us about the stairs and the squad toilette, although at the end, they had and accessory to convert it into occidental one. She also gave us advise about the tourist area and places to visit.

Before we arrived our host Wang, who speaks very good English, made sure, we had the right direction and made it very easy for us to come to the centre where she picked us up and insisted on helping with the luggage. The homestay is tucked away on the slopes of the city, but it is just a short climb and we (in our 70s) didn’t have any problems with it. As a reward the view from the room window is stunning. The rooms themselves are very clean and airy and little garden areas create a great atmosphere. The homestay is in easy walking distance to the main attractions of the city and again Wang made sure, we would find our way and also find good local restaurants. We loved to talk to her and thoroughly enjoyed or stay and regret that we had not booked a longer stay.

It will be better to have English translation the name of the hotel on the booking.com And the point is not very correct on map, but on the map in booking.com there is not these street. But she meat us and we had not any problems.

The hotel is situated near the ticket office center and tourist bus station. It is about 5 minutes by walking. If you don't live in hotel on the embankment with definitely view to river from your window, it is richer of course, this place is a best, because you don't take your luggage by up stairs and down stairs in the old town, because in old town you can't use taxi. Very cozy place with nice view from the window from mountain to the old city. The owner speak English and advice us all places for visiting and cheap restaurants too. She meat us on ticket office center. We enjoyed.

Wang, the employee was so helpful. She went out of her comfort zone to make us comfortable, helped us with local food which turned out to be the highlight of my visit to Fenghuang, the hotel is neat and clean and great for the budget, I got it for 4400 INR as on 6 oct - 8 oct, 2024. Would highly recommend the hotel and yes, watchout for this lady Wang, she is amazing…

Air conditioner was blowing very hard directly onto the bed at night. But at all, it was not a problem, because we had second in another empty room. And we turned it.

Girl in hotel was very friendly and helpful. She helped us with transfer from railway station. We came late in the evening and she told everything about old town and gave a map. Also she recommended some places, where we can eat and buy local tea. There was ine moment, when we lost one location, she found us and helped.

Great location, close to all important attractions. The best of it was the lady who owned the place who was amazing, came to meet us to the street, helped us with the luggage and explained us everything about the city. She spoke English perfectly, which is really helpful.

An absolutely great lady - hotel owner! Extremely helpful and hospitable, with good English (which is priceless;)) Nice location really close to the embankment. An opportunity to have a closer look at a traditional Chineese house

Phenomenal, super helpful owner and the location! Huihui has been the best host ever and I do travel a lot. She even fetch me from the street at 11 pm when I got lost in Fenghuang maze of streets 💕 Great tips on the area, where to go and what to see. The room was great, spacious and with great view. If I come back to Fenghuang I will stay again with HuiHui. Thank you!

Can't think of anything that I dislike...

The owner receptionists were both most helpful,sent messages on transport from the train station, waited to receive us where our taxi stop, giving information and advice on how to go about visiting Fenghuang, places to visit, restaurants, where to shop smart, not to be cheated... Rooms were very clean, bed were comfortable enough, toilet clean and beautiful view especially at night, overlooking the rows of brightly lited shops, cafes, pubs along Fenghuang River...would sure stay here again the next time I visit Fenghuang...

The room was really clean and well-decorated. A very cosy stay with a great view of the village that I think is great value for money. More importantly, the host was really friendly and gave excellent recommendations in terms of food to try and things to do in the village area. The hospitality of the host is very commendable and greatly enhances the experience of the stay Despite the hostel being located up a few flights of stairs, the host was helpful enough to assist us in carrying our luggage and we thought that the stairs were not too many and in fact manageable
