We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful landscaping. The staff was accommodated, we rented a cottage, and after seen it, we realized it would be better to have two separate rooms, since we were two couples. The cottage is great for a family.

United StatesThe was cold. No portable heaters in the room. The hot water was cycling on and off. It was difficult to enjoy the shower and the jacuzzi because the water temperature kept changing.

ColombiaIt´s not properly marked in Waze, so when we arrived from Medellin we waited at the gate of a countryhouse for someone to open us for more than 15 minutes. Luckily we checked on Google Maps later and found out that we were in the wrong place. If you are driving your car to Jardin, use Google Maps to find the exact location.
The place was very nice. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. Its very silent at night, so you can rest without problems. The staff helped us to arrange transportation to the town and offered to help with any tour we wanted to do.

United StatesNo lights at property when we arrived. Electricity went out and they didn’t have a generator. Hours later, electricity returned, but the next morning there was no hot water. They came to fix it, but that didn’t work. We couldn’t use the hot tub, which we had looked forward to using after a day of hiking (and one of the main reasons I booked the room). They tried to fix the hot water again, but that failed. The administration offered us the use of a nearby room to shower; our final day that became a room on the other side of the property. Not really convenient. The owner offered a 20% discount; we agreed to 30%. Still, not the way I want to spend vacation. Lastly, I’m American and supposedly don’t pay the 19% tax. But that, too, suddenly got tacked on to the bill, despite the gal at the desk recognizing that I shouldn’t pay it. It’s just that Booking charges them, so they pass it along to the customer. She suggested that I fight with Booking.com to get the charge reversed, as if I want to spend even more of my time fooling with this disastrous reservation. I’ve traveled all over the world—for months at a time. My strong suggestion: stay elsewhere. There are lovely properties right across the street. Cheaper and better. You know what they could do to improve service? Call Booking.com themselves and resolve the charging of the tax, which doesn’t apply to foreigners traveling in Colombia. Dissatisfied customer. STAY AWAY! ONE BIG HEADACHE!

DenmarkThe location is maybe around 3km from the village, but we walked it and also it wasn't any problem to get a tuktuk. We had one of the big rooms with jacuzzi and it was super amazing. Enjoyed long hiking around the village as the nature there is amazing, and then relaxed the legs in the jacuzzi.

It is just 7 min drive outside Jardin and that makes it more quiet and in the nature, easy parking, separate cabins/tiny houses that are the rooms. We changed into a different room with a terras which was much nicer and at no extra costs

Quiet room, the staff decorated the room as per my request, it was a large room, and the hotel´s staff are kind people. The breakfast is good enough, and the price was lower than the nearest comparable hotel.
