How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No minibar, no mini refrigerator, and no room service after 9pm. Not exactly situated close to any grocery stores or convenience stores, so good luck if you get thirsty or want a late-night snack. Also, the breakfast was quite mediocre and several levels below the standard of the other restaurant offerings.
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, large rooms with hot showers and comfortable beds, safe neighborhood, delicious food offerings served in the on-site restaurant

The hairdryer was so inconsistent I couldn’t use it. The restaurant takes a while too.
Honestly I was so pleasantly surprised. From the pictures online I wasn’t expecting much, so when we got there it was so much better. The room was quiet, and really spacious. The bed was huge and comfortable. You’re ina really good area here too.

For a hotel called "Cafe", the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Colombia is renowned for its coffee regions and one would expect a better daily selection of the various flavors. Instead, they choose one variety for each day and have no individual coffee service in the rooms.
Located in the upscale Poblado neighborood the hotel was convenient by car or walking. The balcony was small, but offered nice views of the city and the tree canopy below. If you are lucky, you may see a family of brightly colored macaws flying between the towers back to their nightly roosts. The internet is good and breakfast acceptable by Colombian standards.

Room service is difficult to order as the person only speaks Spanish. The TV only seems to have English programmes - Not so good if you are trying to improve your Spanish.
Very large and peaceful room, nice balcony and view. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows.

My family and I loved this hotel. The people who work here are very friendly and attentive. Our bedroom was cleaned and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was delicious every morning. There were enough options for everyone. The location was great, only 4 minutes away by car from Provenza and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. We will come back.

The gym on 14th floor is very simple, and is not mentained. To use the threadmill you had to go down in the reseption to ask for a key in the 1st floor. The gym had not any manuals, and the cable machine was not good either. The showers only have 1 setting on how strong the beam is, and it is just way to much water (since they advice you to take quick showers and save water). They should have been replaced also.
The room was big and clean, with very good beds!

You can hear some sounds of the hall.
We were at the hotel for a long weekend and had a very pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and service minded, the hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable! The location is great to get to malls, restaurants and the Provenza area.

There were some loud guests, but that can happen anywhere.
The breakfast was good, the morning coffee was better than what was served later. The gym was small and very basic, but adequate. The staff was great, and the front desk staff was exceptional.
