Sleeping here was quite challenging due to the incredibly thin walls – I could hear everything, even smell the cigarette smoke from outside. The common area wasn't a pleasant place to spend time as there was nowhere comfortable to sit besides kitchen table. The kitchen was quite basic and lacked many necessary cooking tools. I also noticed that the common areas weren't very clean, and my private room wasn't cleaned at all during my three nights. Unfortunately, some of my food disappeared from the fridge. The most frustrating part was when I extended my stay; it seemed the place was overbooked, and I was asked to move into a dorm room, which wasn't what I had booked or wanted. Eventually I could keep the room, but didn't enjoy the pressure at all.

The reception was very friendly, though English wasn't an option. The cheap private room was perfect for downtime, and the location is excellent, right by the main square. Being a small town, everything is within easy walking distance. The staff was nice enough to wait for me for my later check-in, much appreciated! Overall, great value for money!

The hot water wasn't really hot or even warm. It was a fairly cold night and the top sheet and light bedcover were not sufficient to keep me warm. Getting to the hostel requires guests to walk down a very steep slope.

The kitchen was fairly well equipped and there was a filter for drinking water. I didn't see any coffee or teabags available for guests. The staff was friendly though there were a lot of rules such as not placing your backpack on the floor of the bedroom; they were to be in a space provided. This could be the end of your bed.

Super friendly stuff! Amazing value for your money! Don’t expect anything fancy but for the price it’s really great! I absolutely loved the little balcony with the mountain view! Comfy beds, good wifi, tiny bathroom with so so hot water :)

Beautiful hostel, great facilities, excellent attentive staff. Especially Joana with her unforgettable lively personalitie and willingness to help! I met a lot of cool likeminded travelers. I’m finding it hard to leave this beautiful place. See you next time!

1, Quite difficult to walk into the hostel with luggage due to the steepnes and lack of path or steps. 2, Charging 5% for credit card when you pay for the room. We paid in cash. the female receptionist didn’t put a note on the book after we paid. So I asked her to give us a receipt. The boss then came and gave us an invoice dated 2 days ago. That’s not a receipt for our payment. Doggie.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the vibe of the place is bright and festive and the beds in the dorm felt private. It was quiet at night and so it was easy to sleep. The view in the morning as you exit the building is immaculate. As we left, reception gave us bracelets as a souvenir, such a wonderful detail!

Mauricio y Joana are very nice people and always giving a hand when needed with any question or problem. I stayed in Salento when there was a Festival and the location of the hostel really made a difference so that all the party noise didn't come in that loud.

the rooms are super clean & comfortable. And the kitchen has everything you need! The staffs are the most welcoming people I’ve met in my whole trip. You will have so much fun there, you won’t even want to leave!!

Rooms are quite small, bathroom is in the room - it was a bit annoying if you went to sleep later than other, because you woke them up by using shower etc.

the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress had a film on it that was stuffy and scratched when you turn it. the toilet is right in the room and the door was very airy. a bit inconvenient to use.

A very pleasant company had come together. This does not happen in many hostels.
