soundproofing rooms would be ideal but Mrs Iveth will do everything possible to make your stay more comfortable. we asked to be moved to a different room due to construction noise and it was done immediately excellent customer service. It was a right choice tp stay there.

Hotel Dann is one of the best places in Bocagrande. Nice, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, nice swimming pool, great location near the beach.

My only complaints are minor first I was put in a room that was adjacent and just below the floor getting renovated so there was some noise during the day. And secondly, when you do leave the pool area and go out onto the beach the vendors are relentless and really take away from the experience of just relaxing.

I thought the staff was excellent generally very attentive and friendly. The pool area was well kept. And almost without exception every item on the menu was delicious, fresh and well prepared. Wrapped in clear wrap as it was delivered to your table or to your room. Outstanding views from our room on 17th floor. For the price this hotel was a great value and a great location right on the ocean.

The hotel is located in Bocagrande, where the beach is not good. There is a lot of garbage around. The beach in front of the hotel has black sand, hard and the waves are huge. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, the restaurants are a bit far away - about a 10-minute walk. The pool is small and is in the shade almost all day, there is no view of the sea from there. The prices in the hotel are quite high. I had paid a higher price for a double superior room, but they put us in a standard room and refused to refund the difference. I did not get what I paid for. This is pure robbery. The reception staff was rude and did not want to cooperate, and in addition, during check-in they made us wait longer and everyone who came after us got their rooms earlier. The room was small, worn out and with old furniture. Not worth the price, the furniture is battered and scratched. The sofa was dirty. I regret the choice and I would not repeat it.

Breakfast is good. Although it wasn't much, it still had eggs, meat, cheese and fruit, but the coffee was terrible.

The room wasn’t perfectly clean, and the elevator system is a bit unusual, as it only stops at certain floors—specifically at floors like 4, 6, and 8 etc.—so we had to get off at the 6th floor and walk down to our room on the 5th. The building is quite old, and the air conditioning was working so hard that it made me feel unwell. While the hotel is very family-friendly, which is great for families, as a young couple, we found the noise from kids a bit overwhelming. That said, it was a valuable lesson for us to consider adults-only hotels in the future.

The location is fantastic. We preferred not to stay directly in the city center and chose this hotel for its stunning views. Being at the end of the island allows for a really impressive perspective from the hotel.

The location is far from the center of Cartagena where everything happens. The windows were so dirty we could hardly see the beach outside. The bathroom had broken tiles, bad lighting, just overall not what we were expecting from the pictures. We couldn’t relax at the pool with loud music and noise. Wasn’t safe to go to the beach later evening. We end up moving to another hotel next day but had to pay 2 days anyway. Just not worth the money.

The temperature was very low in the lobby and in the restaurant. There was old furnitures in the room. And there was recovery work at the reception and near the pool. It was quite noisy.

Our expectations were that the hotel was a much higher standard then perceived online. We were staying on the 13th floor with a sea view. The windows in the hotel room are broken and extremely dangerous. The hotel has a musty smell throughout the corridors.

The staff were wonderful. Unfortunately the hotel is very outdated and the details are quite misleading online. The beach is not private and the pool area is being renovated so it isn’t particularly relaxing or beautiful.
