Limited hot water for the shower, and it was cold if a couple people in the hostel showered before me in the evening.

The host is very gracious and wants to be of service. Breakfast was good. The location was close to everything without being too close. Terrace upstairs 👍 Good value for Salento

Room and bathroom were quite small.

Great location, very attentive hosts who helped with arranging trips, buses and recommendations for food. Loved the fact we were offered free coffee and even a beer! Felt like staying at a family home rather than a hostel.

Loved our stay at Elizabetha - as close to staying with family as you could imagine from a hotel. Incredibly warm and open people willing to help out in any way possible. There aren't many places you could go and accidentally trip on the stairs and throw coffee down the walls and yourself and they simply laugh it off with you and wash your shirt!! Hasta la próxima

Only minor issue is it is right next to a Tejo bar, so there is the odd loud bang at night, but it doesn't go all night and we didn’t really notice it.

Such a great little place. The host is so warm and loving. He helped us organise our activities and was accommodating with breakfast times. Our room was clean and bed comfortable. Good supply of hot water and wifi was fast. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. It is only a couple minutes walk from the centre, bus station and a mirador. We would definitely stay again.

- private room was a little bit on the smaller side with a small double bed - close to a tejo bar so you can hear noises up to 11pm, didn’t bother us too much though

The host, Mario and his wife, are LOVELY people. Really welcomed us like family, made nice scrambled egg breakfast each day and always helpful with tips on what to do in Salento. They helped organise a coffee tour and taxi to the airport too, and sorted us out for laundry :) Place was very close to the jeeps and the tejo bar (fun!), walking distance to main plaza. Good warm showers.

There's a bit of noise coming from the bar beside, but nothing too bad.

Bed was a tiny bit hard. Stayed there while a large family group then friend group were there so felt a bit crowded at breakfast but all good.

My Spanish could have been better as the owner had no English. We relied on Google Translate which, thankfully, did a pretty good job.

The breakfast was great …with lots of beautiful fruit. Salento is very small so anything that is in town is automatically in a good location. The room was fantastic with a small balcony. There was also a rooftop area with a great view and a cover if it rained (which it did)

I did not like that i had to leave this amazing place.

Its a dream hostel and a dream lady Elizabetha that makes everyone part of her family. So clean ,so nice bathrooms and hot showers,so nice free breakfast,free towels..the location is only 70 meters from the Jeeps that takes everyone cheaply to Cocora valley and to coffe plantations...from the bus is only 500mts..

Eliza and her family were excellent hosts. They were all welcoming, and they also took care of my sick friend as if she was a family member. The guesthouse is very comfortable and modern - the rooms are well-equipped and the view from the terrace is astonishing. The breakfast was really superb, too. Thank you Eliza for your hospitality!

Very noisy. Loud bar next door. Couple that manages the hotel made very loud phone call at 2:30 in the morning. Walls are paper thin

Price was way too much for what it was. The majority of facilities were missing or did not match the description provided on booking.com. For example, the website clearly states that the room was fitted with a hairdryer, coffee machine, fan and kitchenette but none of these things were in our room. Our "courtyard view" overlooked the hostel kitchen below not a courtyard. Also we didn't have full access to use the kitchen, stove, tumbledryers, washing machine as was promised. It was an ok hostel but way too expensive considering it was very basic and didn't have many of the extra perks we thought we were paying for.

Host was helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot showers.
