Everything was fabulous.

We loved Hostal Bumbu and we loved San Agustín. Stephanie was really friendly and welcoming and has lots of local knowledge. Lorenzo was volunteering there and helped us with anything we asked for. The room was really comfortable and the whole hostal has amazing views and is perched in a very quirky way on the hill top.. We are in our late 50s and felt completely at home in this lovely hostal. We can also recommend Milton's walking tour. San Agustín is very small but Milton gave a really interesting and fun tour. The kitchen is well organised and easy to use and the communal spaces are great. I can really recommend Hostal Bambu.

A great hostel with, at the time, an amazing social vibe. Very relaxed up on the balcony, great hikes and activities during the day. Extended my stay multiple times, it's very easy to get stuck here. Bring some time, it's an amazing region and a great hostal.

This is a lovely well designed hostel, the owner is extremely helpful. It is easy to book trips and advice about onward travel. Kitchen useful and well stocked. There is even hot water in the showers, welcome in the mountains

the hostel is beautifully built, obviously the terrase was a highlight and a nice spot to get to know other travellers. when I was there, it was very quiet because of the low season, but I enjoyed how relaxed it was. the staff was really friendly and helpful and would give good recommendations/input and also checked back in afterwards about your experience.

Beautifully decorated and kept hostel that has a soul. Lots of beautiful frescos on the walls everywhere and Gaston is very helpful with letting tou know which places to visit and how to get there. Shower is very hot (2 cold, 2 hot), 4 bathrooms, a clean kitchen to use in case you don’t want to pay for their breakfast. Beds are comfortable and have duvets to keep you warm. Very close to everything but away from noisy streets I would stay there again for sure

The only thing that I would change is the beds in the dormitory are too close, and there is no space to put your suitcase. There are shelves and hangers, but really not adequate space for bigger bags. When I was staying there I had no one in the bed next to me so I could use the in between space for my stuff, but I don't know how I would manage if the bed was occupied :)

I couldn't recommend this hostel enough! It is so clean, so welcoming, so colorful so vibrant! I spent a week there and really felt so comfortable, I could stay there for many many more. The owner is so friendly and helpful, they have guides about all the activities so you don't have to ask around feeling confused and they offer a very tasty and cheap breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. It really is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauties that San Augustin has to offer.

The best showers we had on our whole trip. The whole place was cleaned very often and the kitchen was well equipped. Many tour options and a stunning view from the terrace.

Everything great

Everything was great! The hostel is well situated, has a lovely rooftop, fully equipped kitchen, free coffee. Our room was really nice, the shower is perfect, with the hot water and good water pressure. There is also a tv with a Netflix account by the hostel ☺️ The hostel also offers breakfasts and organises activities. Stephanie (at the reception) is very helpful and friendly, and plays great music ☺️
