We stayed here before Christmas. Gladis was our housekeeper during our time at IntiLuna and is such a caring, warm-hearted and helpful woman. She alone made our stay in Salento so much better! The hostel is clean, simple and possibly the best budget option in Salento. Only drawback was the shower. Its clean but doesnt give off that much water. We loved staying at IntiLuna however <3

Room is smaller than expected, Shower did not have a showerhead and we needed to make a very low stream to have warm water. Overall for the price we have paid it could be much better.

This was a calm place, comfortable bed, small but good breakfast.

What can we say, we loved our stay here so much we ended up doubling it! Truly wonderful and warm people, perfect room (and much appreciated free upgrade!), amazing homemade breakfast. All for a ridiculously reasonable price. Stay here!

The door of the room didn't seem to be very secure. We had issues locking and opening it. Howerver Salento is generally really save and we didn't have any problems leaving our valuables in the room.

Very good location in the center of Salento, just a minute walk away from the main square. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Also close to the bus terminal, so we didn't need a taxi or transfer to reach the hostel when we arrived and departed.

Unfortunately, the shower was very bad - if you wanted warm water you could only get a very small amount of water (it was more like a hose without pressure). If it wasn't for the shower this stay would have been a 10. We also had a bit of an issue with other guests being inconsiderate noisewise. Not the hosts fault and the houses in salento are not very soundproof, but might be helpful to have quiet hours. We were woken at 1am by a group talking loudly in the corridor for half an hour, and woken early most mornings by other guests getting ready.

Alejandro and his wife are great hosts! Breakfast was delicious and different everyday. Vegetarians are well catered for. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, great blankets if it gets cold at night. The windows in the room and bathroom were great for ventilation and getting the fresh mountain air as much as possible.

Delicious breakfast with a homemade crunchy bread and banana bread/ moist cake. The hosts Cecilia and Alejandro are very attentive during the entire stay. Located just a minute walk from the main square. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean.

Rooms don't have a balcony or a common outdoor space, which isn't necessary but could be a bonus. The parking is not on site but Alejandro was always accommodating whenever we need to go in or out. Wifi is good in the common area but not in the room we were in. Rooms could use a bedside lamp.

The entire place was very clean. The showers always had hot water available. The location is perfect as it is a very short walk to the square but not directly in it. Cecilia and Alejandro were very attentive and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing! Especially the bread!
