My room was not cleaned during my stay. Maybe thjs was not part of the service.

The hostel looks very cosy with all the plants in the patio! My private room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. I really liked the location. It was walking distance from the centre and the nice area El Peñon.

the teachers and stuff are the best. I love the salsa lessons and the vibe. that’s my favorite place from the whole trip in Colombia. met so many amazing people. I want to come back..

Only incidentals, had an early flight so could not enjoy the breakfast the last morning and the hostel did not have alternatives. The pool was under maintenance same day of arrival and a notice was not sent to us prior check in, this maintenance caused a plumbing issue so our room was flooded with blackwater during the evening. Staff cleaned our room and washed the wet clothes we had on the floor however the smell was impregnated in the room until check out the next day.

Enjoyed the Salsa Classes and some staff service, the rooms and facilities were just like in the pictures and better. Excellent location

The fridge was full and not super clean, but there were many peoples, hard to say that is the fault of the team. And maybe a little more crockery would be nice. Nothing that won't make me come back ! I advise everyone to come !

Such a great place to be. The staff really kind, the breakfast, the price, the peoples, the activities, the rooms was so well. Salsa, yoga, swimming pool.. Perfect place to rest or if you want to party, just follow the team who show you places to dance every night.

Everyone is super kind and nice. Such a nice atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and plenty, yoga classes are amazing, the privates and the dorms super nice. Definitely worth the stay! Location is also ok. Few minutes and you're in the center.

The check in took like 20 minutes - too long if you just come from a long travel. Reception is somewhat slow (but very kind!) The music is loud and present from 9.30am to 11pm. Even in my room I could hear the music word for word. There's no quiet space in the hostel to relax, think or work. The pool is very cold.

For a small price you can get a nice and easy breakfast :). There's also lunch and a bar. There's a Whatsapp group to connect with the others, which is a good initiative (but lacks some enthusiasm maybe ;)). Free salsa and yoga classes were nice as well.

I would’ve loved more shelves in the bathroom and/or bedroom. Because I have so much stuff.

This hostel, the staff, the instructors, are all phenomenal. To put it simply, this hostel truly has a soul. And what a beautifully warm soul it is. Every night an outing is organized - whether to a salsa club or a street festival or for local ice cream. They learned my name and made a point to check on me, or chat with me. I felt so taken care of by every person I interacted with. The salsa classes offered are beyond phenomenal!! I could see and feel my improvement in both the classes and at the various social dances I attended. It’s clear they really care about my experience. But more notably, it’s clear they cared about me as a person. There are wonderful hostels all over the world but I have never felt so seen, so cared for, and so loved, as I did at La Vaina. It was truly a pleasure and I cannot wait to return.

This hostel is amazing. The rooms are always clean, the staff are the nicest people, and overall its an amazing place to chill, dance, meet travelers from around the world, and get a good colombian vibe. Price is a little higer then other jostels but defenetly woth it!

the fan in the room, even at its highest speed, is not enough to cool down the room. a little more sound isolation in the room would be great

staff is just great !! kate and vale are just outstanding! they make the best out of your stay there. the atmosphere, breakfast, bar and restaurant prices, and facilities in general are algo wonderful

Bigger hostel and feels a bit impersonal.

The hostel is very cool. It was a very beautiful inner yard with bar, swimming pool and a rooftop. One of those hostels in which you consider staying the whole day there rather than going out and exploring the city. Room and bathroom were standard.
