Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lovely place, newly done, super comfortable and in a perfect location. There is coffee, tea and water available and you can use a common kitchen if you want to store something on the bridge, that’s super useful. Located 300mts from Plaza Mayor, but in a quiet street and you can access with the car. They have an agreement with a parking a few blocks away, but we parked directly in front of the hotel. We only spent a night, but this is a great option to stay in Villa de Leyva

The Hostel and the Location was very cute, it had everything I needed. Best part were the hosts. Very friendly and helpful people. And they recommended a lot of very cool stuff I didn’t even had the time for. Looking forward to coming back!

United StatesEverything! The staff was amazing and so kind. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was in a quiet area (yet still close to the center) so I was able to sleep well. There was a nice patio to relax and do work. I really felt at home here. It was the best place I’ve stayed during my month in Colombia.

One of the best places we’ve stayed in our last few months travelling. Also Villa de Leyva is such a beautiful town! Hosts were fantastic and so helpful. Highly recommended.
