nice hostel. At the breakfast we saw small monkeys and the rooms where so nice. the food was really good, but they were always serving it a bit later than what they told. In general a really nice hostel with a chill atmosphere.

people are smoking in the dining area. It’s nice to be vegetarian and cash free- but what does it worth when you are eating inside of a cloud of smoke? the meals prices are very high for vegetables and rice and there are no other options other than the fixed meal.

Zammy and Will are 2 lovely and peaceful people that will help you with a smile on their face. It was a real pleasure speaking with these 2 corazones. (try the banana cake from Zammy it’s great) The place is amazing : peaceful nature surrounded by powerful trees, magnificent birds and fierce monkeys. I loved the ambiance : everyone is quiet, whispering, peacefully talking or reading.

At moments there were a lot of smoking people around in the restaurant area.

The location is quiet and very green. The restaurant area is nice and includes hammocks and a view on the bird feeders sometimes visited by the tamarin monkeys. The food was just great: it's vegetarian and really tasty! Good choice of breakfast options. The owners are very friendly and helpful and always around in case you need anything. So, all in all a very good experience. We stayed for a week, which probably is longer than most people (most visitors were young travelling people), but I can recommend it for longer stays. It's also close to the beaches (in the park and just outside of the park); easily reachable by bus.

Breakfast is also expensive. They should just adjust they room price including the water charge. Would be better than finding you are charge for it automatically.

Exceptional location next to Tayrona park, in the forest. The food is great and the place really clean. Perfect spot for those who want to disconnect a bit from the world. Dinner was also delicious.

be careful to not let food in your bag if you leave it for storage while you’re at Tayrona, or some animals will come and eat your bag to eat the food :( eaten food isn’t a problem, holes in the backpack a bit more … take in consideration it’s 10min away from the main road, the quietness is great but the way can be a bit tricky with bags as you have to cross two tiny rivers on rocks

Great place to stay! Zammy, the owner, is a loveable person and gives great recommendations. At night it’s quiet and perfect for getting a good night sleep while being woken up by the symphony of nature. We also saw some monkeys just above the pool area!

Best hostel I ever stayed so far! You can completely connect with nature, It's an amazing place to meet new interesting people but at the same time Origen Hostel is a place where you can completely disconnect too! I was told I was the first panamanian to stay there, so that makes me proud! Sammy and Will are amazing hosts they make you feel at home. I will go back with friends since I went on a solo trip. If you like nature and adventure this is a must try Hostel! Plus the pool is amazing and so close to the entrance of Tayrona Park! Can't wait to go back!

Really great hostel, the staff is super friendly and the location is amazing! Just keep in mind that you really have to cross a river to go there :) Breakfast is available for 25,000$ and dinner for 35,000$. I would definitely recommend it!

Very cool hostel, loved the walk to get there through the jungle and across the rivers! Very easy to get the local bus to the nearby beaches. Food was delicious, and Dobby and Zeus the dogs are lovely. Thanks Will for showing us round your home!
