Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. GermanyEven for being in Medellin, we found it a bit expensiv for the level of hotel. Quite basic and small room, but clean and quiet during the night and day.
The location is a nice residential area, great location for exploring Laureles. The staff are super, very friendly and helpful with anything you need - from booking tours and taxis to a clogged toilet ;-) Quiet during the night.

CanadaI stayed for 4 nights, but there was no cleaning service or change of sheets and towels. The room was humid and only had a fan. My room was next to the storage room, and I was woken up early in the morning, around 6-7 AM, by staff talking and making noise. I had to walk 15-20 minutes to get to the Estadio metro station each time. The price was slightly high for the value I received.

United StatesThe door to enter the front lobby is locked at night time and has no way to enter without ringing a bell and disturbing the other guests. There are no window screens to keep the mosquitoes from entering the rooms.
The location is great for restaurants and proximity to the parks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioned rooms are pleasant for sleeping. The showers are hot. The beds are comfortable.

ColombiaHaving arrived back in the evening the room had not been cleaned. As the first night my girlfriend, her daughter and her sister stayed, there was quite a bit of rubbish. I was told that I had to authorise access for room cleaning, and shown their rules written in such small print it could not be read. Detracted from my stay as the hotel could receive a better rating with attention to details.
Good size room with TV and a fan. The staff are pleasant. Breakfast freshly cooked and adequate though not much choice.

Canada1. Mosquitoes in the room 2. Hotel owners can always help enrol their staff to learning English, it seems like a lot of their clients are non-spanish speakers. As visitors we do try to learn or speak Spanish since we’re in their country but it would be nice to be able to be more comfortable in communication somewhat, somehow (after all, we are paying customers and tourists do somewhat help in the Colombian economy) :)
Friendly staff, although none of them can speak at least a little bit of English, they were very helpful and accommodating. I appreciate them very much.

NorwayIt was a bit loud in the evening, and Colombians don’t use “silent mode” on their phone for some reason. Night after night I heard messages and notifications coming in to someone close (reception or room next door). The sound echoed into my room. Around 12 it got very quiet. Still one of the more quiet places I’ve staid in Colombia.
