Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

CanadaRooms are not well isolated for the noise coming from the outside. I only spent 1 nigth in a regular room (#606) and the noise woke me up at 4am as traffic started at that time. I asked to be moved to another room with a better noise isolation and the only option I got was to upgrade my reservation to a front room with balcony as those are located the more far from the big avenue st the back. I got room 801 for 8 nights and they charged me the fees for the upgrade which ended up costing me almost the double that I budgeted for this holiday...
The staff, the location, all is new inside the rooms. The rooftop restaurant was good but with a small menu and the café restaurant for breakfast was good too but very poor menu as well.

The location is terrific, only a few minutes to Calle 70, and a short walk to Primer Parque y Segundo Parque and related restaurants & bars. Not to mention some great places immediately around the hotel. Room was super comfortable with everything required and also great variety of breakfast options. Highlight for me are the staff - everyone is so friendly and caring and proved the point when I had an unexpected medical episode. The staff could not have done enough and really made me feel looked after literally like I was surrounded by friends for which I am so indebted.

Costa RicaFor the most part, everything went perfect. If I had to point some inconvenients, I would say that the pipes are very loud, so when someone nearby is taking a shower, the noise can get extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, since the painting on the restaurant entrance has faded off with time, the restaurant's schedule is unclear unless you look it up online, or ask at the hotel. It is a tremendously minor detail, but hopefully it can be fixed so it does not lead to more confusions.
I was very much pleased with almost everything, but I would like to highlight the attention and cordiality given by the staff, especially in regards to suggestions on what to do, where to go in Medellín and beyond, etc. Thank you very much :)

Really clean and comfortable, it felt like really good value for money. Tasty breakfast in the cafe next door where the staff were really friendly. It was only a few blocks from the estadio metro stop, so very convenient. It’s on the edge of laureles.
