How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The the staff, the views from the room and breakfast were amazing. Definitely it is a good place to stay.

Guess services were poor also the restaurant needs more variety of food. Need to look if the fruit or acid or sour drinks very limited

For the 5 star experience that it claims to offer the room furniture and facilities look a little worn out. The furniture is a little old, the desk chair was on its last moments and the TV was outdated too. The hotel really needs to invest in its furniture and for the price it charges it should be in better condition. It was also noisy, drilling at early hours in the morning which was weird. Also some of the photo scenic spots it shows on the website were often closed. These tiny easy to fix details really let it down. Overall I'd still say it's a great hotel.
The location is amazing and the facilities outside of the room were amazing. The breakfast bar was good, however hot food options for vegetarians were a bit limited in my view. Staff were super friendly and for anyone with security concerns this hotel is really really stringent on security protocols. Often there is police at the front, with security guards too and the concierge staff are very vigilent. I can imagine important people stay here often. The Gym is amazing, especially for anyone that loves calisthenics.

Similar Hotels would offer a complementary breakfast. This hotel was about the same price and did not offer breakfast. For that reason I would pick the Dan Carlton or the Obelisk.

check took 2 hours because of lack of staff. laundry staff woke us up at 8 am asking for laundry needs.

The Gym was not Ideal, looks like it does not get used. The Hotel feels a little dated for the Price thats being paid.
The location of the Hotel is Ideal and probably the one of the best hotels in the North of Cali. Since its north is relative close to the Airport and you have access to probably the biggest Mall in Cali.

There didn’t seem to be wash clothes for bathing, the food was okay. Also, the tv only has one channel (#6- news ) in English. We brought our toddler with us and she wasn’t able to watch any of the cartoons while we’re there since everything was in Spanish
We enjoyed that the hotel is connected directly to both malls. So it made it very easy to visit those two locations or get anything from the store last minute that we needed. There was also a grocery store within the mall as well which was good for our toddler

I'm from America, so the communication was trick....so if I have to pick a negative concern....it would have to be an English/ bilingual speaker at the high traffic areas ie: front desk, bar, cafeteria, ect
The facility is modern and well kepted....maintenance staff DAILY , had a "beautifying " crew that touched up any blemishes, chip paint smudged glass, dead plants, ect...you can tell how they present themselves is very important to them, it shows and it's appreciated
