We had an amazing experience at Charlee Hotel! The concierge went above and beyond to help us find a car and ensure everything was perfect for my husband's birthday. The room was beautifully prepared. the location is unbeatable-right in the heart of everything, close to all the best party spots. if you are looking for great service, and a vibrant atmosphere, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended. and a very secure place

The price was too high. The tour to the coffee plantation was hugely inappropriate for two elderly women with walking canes and obvious mobility challenges. Our guide for this tour was a saint and a true gentleman.

Breakfast was excellent and staff welcoming and attentive. Reception staff also excellent. We had an excellent tour of the city but the tour for the coffee plantation was inappropriate.

Neighboring room had stereo playing REALLY loud for a while, late at night -- But it ended after 45 minutes finally..

All good. Great location. Rooftop pool and view is incredible. Nice bilingual staff. Not cheap, but reasonable rates.

I felt a little discriminated by being Colombian, I felt there was more attention for the group that I was traveling with then for me and is no the first time that happens so I’m no surprise

Toilet was blocked a couple of times, though it was quickly fixed. The shower was difficult to get to a Goldilocks temperature, either too hot or too cold. Location is very lively and loud, luckily we able to close the living room door and sleep in peace.

Comfortable bed, the living room was a real bonus. Good breakfast. Fully stocked mini bar. Very friendly staff. Burgers in the restaurant were fantastic. Duvan in the bar was very friendly.

I stayed here once before, years ago. The vibe of the area is totally different now. If that is your thing, great. If not (like me), do not stay here. I stayed here with a friend, not looking for anything. The staff, including reception, treated us with 'distrust' that we only came here for one thing. Understandable seeing the developments of the park over the last few years, but a bit uncomfortable when you have no such intentions. I experienced the staff therefore as a bit unfriendly.

Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable and lovely views. Breakfast was pretty decent as well.

I paid extra for a "deluxe suite." It was an ordinary 3 star bedroom with tacky furniture. The suite part was a large living room, but it was useless at night because it was so dark. One overhead lamp had less than a 25 watt bulb. Reception told me they reported my complaint but nothing happened. The maid said they do not provide lamps. Actually the whole hotel is lit by 25 watt bulbs, making even the reception area gloomy and not welcoming. The pool is smaller than expected and only open until 3 pm when the adjacent bar opens. After a day of touring it would have been nice to cool off in the pool in the late afternoon. My suite was very quiet but two other guests told me their rooms were unbearably loud due to music from the bar.

The best thing about the Charlee is the staff. The people in reception are incredibly helpful, anxious to please. The are the concierge. They give change for large bills, They phone the taxi for you, arrange the airport driver. The Bellmen even walk you two blocks to show you what you are looking for. Even the security guard at the door, Jefferson, helps out. Jordan, Never, Karen and two others whose names I forgot made my stay easy. Also, the breakfast is really good with superb service.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of El Pablado! It did get noisy at night, but the air conditioned, large rooms with a great shower was well worth it! Staff spoke English and breakfast was great.

the only down point I would say about the hotel was it was pretty noisy at night. not indie the hotel but just the fact it was a party area as such.

the rooms were spacious and very well kept. the staff were very helpful and friendly. breakfast was brilliant, the hotel gym was probably the best gym I’ve ever used in the hotel and widely used by local people too. the breakfast was brilliant with very quick and polite service. the rooftop bar has brilliant views especially at night and was very vibrant.

The location of this hotel will work for you if you want easy access to the Party Zone and Street areas, otherwise it’s all a bit too full on and noisy and some very questionable activities happening in the area! We are glad we experienced The Charlee but if we return to Medellin we would stay elsewhere away from the Party area.

Located right next to ‘the party zone’ of Medellín so depends on if this good for you or not! Hotel staff were outstanding, really helpful and spoke great English which helped us. We had two Deluxe Suites and both were lovely rooms with great room facilities. The soundproofing doors were certainly needed to get a good sleep. Really comfortable beds and great shower. Breakfast was very good with great breakfast staff and a special mention for Samuel who was a brilliant breakfast server and with a great smile always on his face.

Beds were smaller than a queen (too small). lighting in the room at night not very good. The room is very dark for old eyes and there is not a lot of lighting options. I had a flower delivery that got delivery to the garage entrance by mistake. The employee that signed for the flowers never took the flowers to the front desk. This ruined my Valentine’s Day surprise for my wife.

The service was great (front desk). The woman that brought a portable bar to our room every night and served us complimentary drinks was a nice touch. The rooftop lounge was excellent.
