Paola, at the front desk, is a life savior! Before I go into details about the accommodation, I want to truly thank Paola for accommodating my request for a late check-out (even though we had to return from the airport due to a canceled flight). I truly appreciate her taking the time to help us and making all the difference during our stay. So, needless to say, the staff is amazing, shoutout to you guys! The room was clean and super spacious and to address some concerns, we did not hear any noise during our stay (and it was during the weekend). The lighting was fine also, it tends to be mellow, but comparing it to the other 5-star hotels in the area is about the same.

The staff were horrendous at this hotel. Luis on the front desk is the rudest hotel manger I have ever encountered. The pool is tiny & the drinks are over priced. The hotel needs a renovation! Best avoid!

We booked this hotel because of the rooftop however the swimming pool was always closed and the floor around it (around the rooftop bar) was always super dirty full of hair. Our room was on the 7th floor and we could still hear all the music and people screaming outside. We tried to complain and they told us to email the manager who never even replied to us. Probably the worse hotel I have ever been specially for the price we paid.

The property uses high scent cleaning products and aromas that set off my allergies and respiratory issues. I could not stay in the property even after airing out the room and change of bedding.

the staff were so helpful, one bell boy even walked us to the money exchanger to help us out on checking breakfast was delicious and amazing Paola was on the front desk every day, biggest smile and ready to help with anything we had to checkout pretty fast and they were smooth as possible rooms are beautiful the views are breathtaking and there is a cocktail cart that comes past your room between 6 and 7 daily for a free cocky!

- Wifi worked intermittently, and disconnects almost immediately when you stop actively using it. There are various dead spots in the hotel, and separate networks to sign in to for lobby, bar, rooftop, room, and gym. - There is a very small amount of parking. The hotel is impossible to drive to during the day, due to construction. Parking may not be available since they only have space for 4-5 cars. I parked on the street was told to get my car and park. Once I arrived, they were full. Later, when they were able to take the car, they asked for the key and give no ticket for the car. Pretty shaky policy, and I guess (they told me) you’re just supposed to trust that they remember you and your car. - The rooftop is very cool but also way overpriced ($17 gin and tonic). There was a good food selection. - The room was just OK. There were outlets that failed and the TV didn’t work (called maintenance and got some stations working). The room was older than expected and the construction noise was loud even on a very high floor. - The bed was uneven and wonky support in different positions and additional sheets and pillows can only cover up so much. Bed had strong soap smell so sheets were cleaned properly. There were crumbs and/or sand or dirt all through the bed. - The breakfast was good not great. Service was great. The bacon served was very old and even stale. Dinner at Envy was good.

- Good checkin with polite and professional service (the opposite of Lettara Hotel which was the most clownish, dishonest, and unprofessional in memory).

Pool is kind of a fishbowl with bar guests all around. Not very private or conducive to lounging.

I was visiting for a wedding and stayed in the Charlee. Staff is absolutely superb. Went out of their way to provide 5 star service. I know most people don’t tip but in this case I wish I had more cash to offer tips to any and all staff to thank them. Hotel was nice and provided everything you would need. This is an active vibrant neighborhood so the music outside goes on as late as 4 am. Ear plugs are provided in the room if you have trouble sleeping through the music. This is definitely where I will stay next time.

I recently stayed at The Charlee hotel and I have to say, it was an awesome experience. Mr. Charlie was great and really went out of his way to make us feel at home. He gave us some great recommendations for meals and places to go, and even sorted out our taxis for us on most days. The hotel itself is really nice and has a cool, industrial style. The new restaurant downstairs serves up some seriously delicious food, and I highly recommend getting the breakfast for your stay - it was definitely a highlight of my mornings! The rooftop is also a must-visit - it has a great vibe in the evenings with house music and stunning views of the city. Just be aware that the hotel is located on a party road, so if you're looking for peace and quiet in the evenings, it may not be the best option for you. Overall, I would highly recommend The Charlee hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and vibrant stay in the heart of the city. Mr. Charlie and his team really made our trip extra special, and we can't wait to visit again soon.

If you are in Medellin to party, this hotel is perfectly located. If you are not, then this hotel might not be for you. It’s very loud & the music around it is non stop (literally 24 hours). There’s road works going on around the hotel so there is drilling on the street that goes on during the day.

The rooftop bar is amazing. Highly recommend it.
