How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It’s noisy, you can hear everything going outside
The hotel is super nice and the staff too, the location is really great and super close to the center and diferente restaurants

It’s a bit humid and some of the rooms look in the internal court so don’t have proper windows looking outside.
Location is great and the rooms are very clean! The common room with the fire is a plus and the sauna is also great.

The location is excellent! The staff are so friendly and allowed us to check in earlier than suggested. The place itself is decorated beautifully, it’s very clean and the beds are super comfy! There is a bar also which has an offer of 2 for 1 cocktails.

Great location in the heart of Candelaria. They did a really nice job of restoring this old colonial building with modern amenities and unique touches. The beds were super comfy and there is a very friendly house dog named Archer who keeps everyone entertained. The property has some unique features including a rooftop with incredible views of Monserati and a sauna that was really nice to use after a day out exploring. I also appreciated the local artisan shampoos, soaps, and lotions they use. Excellent location if your lore looking to explore many of the city's main attractions. Will definitely return during my next visit. Thanks for hosting us!

The room was very humid and our clothes and towels stayed damp for 4 days.
Great value for price, welcoming staff and great location. Breakfast and cocktails at the bar were also delicious! We felt very safe throughout our stay.

For how secure they try to keep the building, it was quite alarming when I came back to my private room to find that housekeeping had left my door wide open after they were done cleaning it. When I brought this up with the staff they didn't seem to think it was a big deal. Also, was not expecting daily housekeeping in a place considered a hostel, so had left things out in the open that I wouldn't have had I known people would be going in there. Only window in the room was directly into the hall, so it felt awkward if I didn't keep the curtains closed at all times. Also as others have noted, there's no social vibe here at all.
The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The building is very secure, you need to be buzzed in and out at all hours of the day.

This was the second occasion that I stayed at this property. I scored it 10/10 on the first occasion, however, on this occasion, the nightclub nextdoor was open. It created so much noise that I couldn't sleep! I asked to be changed to the opposite side of the building. The card machine didn't work when I checked in. After about 15 mins, the second card machine worked. The staff member inferred that it was an issue with me which I found insulting. I wouldn't return.

Excruciatingly uncomfortable painful bed that left me exhausted from being unable to sleep and left in bad pain for the duration of my stay, requiring a trip to the pharmacy for antinflammatory medication and painkillers. The room was small with only a rock hard bed and nothing else provided in the room, for this price there should be proper amenities and furnishing in a room. The room was too hot without a fan or air-con available.
It was clean and modern.

The rooms are very noisy. Saturday night, the city was booming with music and it felt like it was in our room. Same thing when the hotel plays music during the day, it resonates in the room. Mattress is a bit stiff.
Location is wonderful, close to everything. Very good to explore around. Very clean and the room was cleaned daily. The staff was really helpful.
