We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GuatemalaThe place is aging and needs some renovations. The photos are either photoshopped or from when it was very new, it doesn't look like that anymore and that includes the bedsheets. The pool is not being treated correctly and looks dirty.
Good location within Leticia and easy communication. Very friendly and attentive staff (we were referred an amazing TukTuk driver who was very reliable, made us feel safe, and showed us around Leticia/Tabatinga). Breakfast was hearty with lots of fresh fruit and good for the start into our exploration of the Amazon.

United StatesWe returned for a third night after a tour of the Amazon and got what seemed like the last room. It was in the back and there was a weird window in the room that let in light - it seemed to go to an air shaft that was lit up all night? A curtain over the window would have been appreciated. If we had stayed there another night, we would have asked about it. But we were leaving in the morning.
The best thing about the Zuruma Hotel is the pool. It was very refreshing to come home at night and jump in to cool off. The breakfast was good too and all in all very pleasant stay.

Netherlandsit’s one of those hotels that used to be nice but by now is out of fashion and not well maintained. paint on the walls is falling apart, linens and towels are not what you could call new, swimming pool is enjoyable but could be cleaner. it’s quite ok for one or two nights but it’s not a very well maintained place.
location is good, swimming pool is always enjoyable, the vibe at the pool and bar was quite dynamic, breakfast was tasty and everything was rather clean.

IrelandThe rooms are very tired and the beds very soft, some even sagging in the middle. The breakfast is fixed. I asked for toast and was told they only had a microwave so couldn't toast bread.
The big plus of this hotel is the air conditioning in the rooms and swimming pool. The free breakfast is a bonus. The location is good too - easy walk to Leticia shops and restaurants.
