That I couldn't stay longer...

First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to optimize my stay in La Fortuna straight from the start. Compared to everything else I saw, they offer the best rates for all the tours and guide you along the process. The hostel is at a great location, and looks very cute. My room was just perfect and the bathroom exceeded my expectations! Overall, would definitely come back and would recommend to everybody planning a stay in La Fortuna.

If you get the top bed, it’s a bit hard to get up and down. Other then that my stay was very pleasant!

Great, spacious and clean bathrooms with hot water (not everywhere)! Nice location 5-7 minutes walk from the La Fortuna downtown. Staff was super helpful.

Great welcome, very friendly hosts! They helped us with all our questions, and we had many of them! The rooms are clean and comfortable, they provide ventilation for the heat. Kitchen is super nice and well equipped. Lots of tours possible to book at the hostel! (Listend to the hosts suggestions, we really enjoyed them!) Hot and very nice showers! They provide coffee in the morning, a small gesture but so nice for the atmosphere

Rooms have very small windows. Very loud. There were renovations every day inside and outside the Hostel and a rooster which woke us every day very early.

There are 2 windows in the room I stayed in, but only one has curtains. This was not a problem for me as the bed I slept in (there was a bed and a set of bunk beds) was by the window with curtains, but anyone sleeping in the bunk beds may have difficulty sleeping after sunrise.

Stayed 3 nights in a private room. The staff was friendly and offered information about everything there is to do in the area and how to get to/from them on arrival and arrange paid tours. It made a great base for spending a few days in La Fortuna

The hostel itself was very dirty. The shower in the 4-bed room didn’t drain and it smelled really bad in our restroom. The whole room felt very unclean. It was also unbearably hot! We could barely sleep because they only had one small fan that wasn’t great at cooling the room down. The kitchen was pretty messy and it just felt unclean while you were there. Overall, it’s affordable but it’s really not a comfortable place to stay. Just enough to get by.

The staff was very friendly and had the cutest dog! The outside sitting area was cute and a good place to sit for fresh air. The location was ideal - close to Fortuna but far enough away for quiet and close to El Salto rope swing. We met some cool people too.

Our private room was hot and if we opened a door for fresh air it let all the cigarette smoke in from guests smoking outside. The ensuite shower had many leeches in it so we could not use it.

Clean kitchen, well stocked. Friendly staff. Quiet location. Helpful to book tours they were familiar with. Good value for money.

Some organization/professionalism. I tried to get a shuttle from my previous location to here, they misunderstood which place I was in though I wrote it out fully And I think quite clearly. I sent them money on Paypal that they sent back but with the fees I lost like eight dollars for the misunderstanding (I received less than I sent). On booking it says they take card, but they don't. It's cash only. They told me to go to get cash the first night, so I did despite being very tired after taking 4 busses because I didn't get a shuttle, then they didn't have change so said I should pay in the morning. When I went to pay in the morning the different people there told me rather rudely that I wasn't booked for two nights, despite the people last night telling me I was. I had to explain that maybe it was because one night had already passed... Overall I just didn't feel well taken care of by the staff there, less because of them and more because of the lack of organization.

The price is good and beds were nice. Decent location. Good amount of tours and things offered at good prices. Some of the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful.

Large dorm can get a little warm & humid when full, it's a matter of taste. I run unusually hot & have trouble most places anyway.

Really good new hostel. Run by an Argentine couple who have travelled extensively. Activities are organised and structured well so people can join or opt in as they like. Loads of information on free activities & about as good a deal on tours as you can find in La Fortuna. Kitchen was the best equipped I've seen in Central America. And there's free coffee in the mornings!

I really recommend staying at Argdivan! Lara and and Lautaro are doing everything right - they arrange fun dinners and hot springs tours were you can socialize and meet the other guests. The place has a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook for yourself. You can fully trust them to help you organize your trip, shuttles and any advice that you might need. The hostel has a relaxed and positive atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

The bunk beds are really instable and have no wood around them; the doors are cute but with a lot of holes and as its a busy small place, you hear everything. Also there is no curtains on the lil windows, so the sun shines bright in my face every morning at 5.30. The staff have most people and introduction about activities etc, but not me. A different lady helped me, seemed super new and as if she had no idea what she was doing. Also i forgot to pay and they seemed a little mad about it, though they didnt remind me until the last day.

Location is quiet but only few min walk from the city centre and local bus terminal. The place is clean and looks cute with the little lights. At night its very quiet excl the beds. Its super cheap. If you like it, they have a whatsapp group and do a lot of group activities. The staff was helpful when asked.

The staff was fantastic. They shared so much info about cool, off-the-beaten path things to see in the area and have great restaurant recommendations. We went to the most amazing hidden waterfall that we would have never known about without their suggestion. They made the stay more than worth it! In addition, the shared kitchen was well equipped, the outside common areas were nice for breakfast or a drink in the evening, and they helped arrange tours right from the hostel. Short walk into La Fortuna but still on a quiet street.

The staff members Lara and Lautaro are very kind and helpful. The hostel offers a lot of tours for the surrounding area for a good price. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. It's easy to talk to other people and make new friends in this hostel. It was clean, there were lockers. It was quiet, even in the 10bed dorm. I joined the pizza night which was really great (thank you again, Lautaro, for one of the best pizzas I ever had :) ). I had a great stay and would come back!
