Quite poor sound insulation, lots of noise in the middle of the night and early morning.

My breakfast is on the day of my departure. I had clearly me tinned not to pack pork or beef for my breakfast ( packaged because I was leaving at 5:30am) and the sandwiches that they packed had ham in it. So , my family and I could not have our breakfast. Also, it was a very expensive airport shuttle. It should be me maximum of 30 USD.

Good price and one of the best rooms we had in Costa Rica. The basics were all there: hot water and good water pressure, clean beds/no need bugs, decent noise-proofing, good buffet breakfast. The personnel was also very friendly. The hotel is only a short walk away from the park La Sabana, and about 20 mins on foot from the city centre. The area didn't feel dangerous (maybe just a bit lonely), also at night. There's a subway not too far away from it.

They have very bad wifi and the waiters in the restaurant were not nice.

Some minor inconveniences..... Upon arrival.....too many cars parked all unattended in hotel entrance blocking entrance to arriving guests with luggage. No wash cloth, only one hand towel. Bath towels were very worn. It was probably simply an oversight. Two servings of k cups coffee in the room is not enough. Was awakened very early by guests and housekeepers in the hallway. Sounds filtered into the room too easily......Need to deaden sounds.

The bedding was very comfortable, high quality. The shower was wonderful. The breakfast was very impressive. Appreciated Friendly Welcoming staff. It's definitely a nice hotel in la sabana and will stay again.

Parking is ... odd. When I first arrived late afternoon I found a space along the street just in front of the casino entrance. I checked in and asked if I was in the correct parking area (was there a garage or some other lot as there were only about 7 - 8 spaces total from what I could see). The nice guy at the front desk insisted on coming out with me to see where I'd parked. He shrugged and said, sure, it's probably fine. I told him I was leaving for a late appointment and coming back at night and asked where I should park. He suggested I ask when I came back. When I returned around 8:15 it was raining. There was a crush of cars all parked together under the portico up front but no official spaces on the street. I asked the only guy I could find if there was any official place to park. He said no. I ended up leaving it under a street light on other side of the street. It all turned out fine, but it seems odd that a hotel/casino that large has no parking...

Room was quiet and cozy. I specifically asked for a room far away from the casino (didn't realize when I first booked it that it was part of a casino). They gave me a room on the top floor. Didn't hear a peep. Was also great that the restaurant opened at 6:00 a.m. as I had to leave at 6:30 for an appointment.

We booked the junior suite. It was spacious with nice finishes. The hotel overall is very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast. Parking was easy and the location is very conveniently located within the northwest corner of San Jose.

The location was great. We felt safe. The front desk valet worker was so awesome! He spoke great English (even though both of us speak good Spanish). God nless his kind soul! Only thing we would change is the communication from the front desk. We missed breakfast as they never mentioned it to us. We arrived late, so knowing this would have helped us a lot!

The location was great! The hotel was very easy to get to by car. Everything was super clean: our bedroom, the bathrooms, the foyers, restaurant. The selection at breakfast was basic but everything was very delicious.

Public areas a bit unwelcoming. Corridors etc need redecoration. Location great for road access elsewhere rather than visiting the city centre

Reasonably priced, functional hotel well-positioned between airport and city centre. New bathrooms. Happy to provide early breakfast-to-go. Worked well for Tortuguero transport pickup. Really nice reception staff.

The hotel itself is quite dated as well as the rooms. The standard of cleanliness could be improved also, especially in the gym.

The staff were very welcoming and approachable with any issues. The location itself is not bad, we needed somewhere near to our car rental place so it suited us but the park is close by and is very good for a stroll. The beds were fine, nothing special but we slept fine. Breakfast was okay too, not a massive amount of options but fresh eggs cooking to your liking was great.
