The hosts are the kindest, nicest, most helpful people. The breakfasts and meals at the restaurant are worthy of Michelin Five stars, the best in Costa Rica. The room was extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. The location is astoundingly beautiful with a gorgeous private beach across the road. All tours and transportation were expertly handled. I highly recommend this hotel!

Edwina and Jonathan the owners of the hotel were super sweet and very helpful. They really went out of their way to make sure you had a good stay. The hotel was charming and really good value. .. and we made some very interesting other guest. . Great breakfast in the morning/ in the restaurant was really good value and delicious. I would definitely go back.

Amazing private beach nearby! One the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Tours here are much more expensive than other places but you can see why. The hotel is a comfy and basic and very clean.

The lodging is located about 2 miles from the beachhead where the boat from Sierpe drops you. Most of the businesses, restaurants, etc. are located at the beachhead. It was a long walk into town and back to the lodging.

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. There is a walk to the beach directly across from the lodging. The meals prepared by the chef were very good.

You need a 4x4 to arrive to the accommodation by car and avoid arriving at night

The Corcovado tour was very well coordinated with the hotel so it was simple to follow. Very clean rooms, and the staff was very nice.

The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke which made it a bit uncomfortable and difficult to sleep.

We booked the room with the view and the view was beautiful and we loved the location and space. The balcony and the fridge are a nice touch. The staff were all super friendly.

The beds weren’t really comfortable and the rooms get really, really hot even when it’s not hot outside. No warm water in the shower. Nothing to put your stuff in really at least in our room.

Very simple hotel but okay. We didn’t love it here but we liked it. Depends on what you’re looking for. The food was a little pricy but good. Beach was nice and we were almost alone there. It’s really relaxed there and quiet.

The room was really hot with no AC (we went to a couple of places without AC and it was not a problem but here it was really uncomfortable). The owners seemed to only care that we will buy a tour through them and seemed really angry when we chose another company, and were not very accommodating. bed was uncomfortable with bad sheets that got of the bed all the time, so we did not get good night sleep. The location is very far from city center.

The breakfast was good. There is a small private beach next to the hotel that was nice.

A couple of times we arrived back at the property after 7pm and the gate was already locked shut, so we had to contact the owner to be let in, while waiting in the rain. Some staff weren’t as friendly as they could have been, and it was noisy at times as our bathroom backed onto a shared bathroom. One morning the cleaner walked straight into our room before 8am without knocking. Very basic rooms, with little character or bedside lamps etc.

It’s a pretty little place to stay and family owned, nice and clean, and the dogs are lovely to have around. Near a private beach which was beautiful and great for sunset. Breakfast is good.

Helpful staff and good location with boat pickup just in front at the beach, 3km from town. Good organisation of taxi pickups. Breakfast was included, so price was good overall.

Laundry service is way overpriced. To reach the hotel, make sure you ask your contact of the hotel which route you have to take, because the gps system tries to send you through a river, but there's another route which has a bridge. The road to it is only doable with a jeep + there's no phone connection to reach someone. So make sure you get the right directions

The hostel is superclean, has great breakfast, and it's nice that you can book a tour through them (they also make sure you get a decent breakfast before you leave). The rooms are basic, but everything is very clean all the time! & They have cool pets 😍

very nice owners!!! one of the first families in drake bay. the room and shower were super clean. good breakfast included in the price. we also had a dinner there -great price and very tasty. the property has its own privet beach - which is just amazing. the owner let us park our car for free while staying the night in Corcovado .
