Bought some salads in the cafe/deli which were very expensive and tasteless. Didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on that.

Fabulous breakfast, really tasty hot section, lovely fruit and juices and nice coffee. Pool and jacuzzi were a lovely way to refresh after our flight to SJO.

The floor in our room was really dirty. The room service took a long time to arrive. Our key card didn't work for our room.

Check-in is at 4pm. We arrived around 6pm but we couldn't get in to our room for 2 hours due to a system failure. No compensation was offered. A complimentary drink or an offer to have a late check-out would have been nice. The noise and smell from the kitchen extraction fan were not pleasant when we had the doors to the french balcony open.

The building, pool and gardens are beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and the view of the mountains was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Not enough vegetarian food; The food in general is extremely overpriced ($21 for a glass bottle of water at the café!)

Spa is excellent! The property has beautiful views of the mountain and lots of space to meet with colleagues. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Any other stuff in the restaurant is phenomenal… And the pool area is extremely nice outside. I love the little private cabanas… And the rooms are very nice. I love the little coffee machine and everything about it.

This hotel is a true hidden gem, it’s an amazing property with super friendly staff and absolutely great facilities.

The buffet breakfast was very good but the meal in the Hacienda was just average. When we checked in our son who was 12 was listed as free on my booking with booking.com but the hotel gentleman at reception asked me his age several times on check in and u only noticed by chance they had charged me for an extra bed in our room. I rang to request it be removed which it was but felt the man had check in had added it and not told us.

I had booked a specific room on booking and even upgraded and when i checked in they tried to charge me another 50. I argued and showed what i had paid for Thought she was extremely rude. But all other staff were fantastic. It was unfortunate that was the initial indroduction

Location close to the airport was really convenient but it felt tucked away and relaxing. Great hotel - only down side is it’s a chain so not really unique but will definitely stay next time we come

We loved EVERY thing.

Everyone was extremely helpful. The cooking class was a wonderful, interactive, unexpected surprise. The front desk sent staff immediately when we needed help with the safe & when we needed any items. The variety & number of restaurants was great. Not to mention the respect & integration of local culture. The pools, hot tub, garden & lush-green, well kept grounds created an extremely peaceful & tranquil environment.

Outside whirlpool did not on. Staff promised to send someone to get it working, but half an hour later, still no correction made.

We were only there for one night. The only thing we didn’t love was that the restaurant food at Bar No. 10 was very Americanized.

The property is beautiful! It is clean and staff is welcoming and well organized. The showers were nice and warm (we had a problem with warm water our entire 10 day trip until reaching this hotel).

I couldn't say I didn't like anything. I was pretty much satisfied with my whole experience. Maybe the one thing I would say is there could be earlier check in times but other than that great facility.

I really enjoyed the facilities they had such as the gym in particular it was very clean and had great equipment for when your on vacation.

I will never stay anywhere else when visiting San Jose! The facility was amazing. Spa was even better! Everyone was so friendly and felt transported.

Bed size, breakfast food.

Breakfast was good could have been better food was cold, staff was great. Only able to use the pool 1 day but was nice, could use someone around for drink or food orders. Room was ok however would had loved the option of 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles, for this reason alone we would choose a different hotel.
