Pool was great. We were there on Easter and they had activities for the kids, DJ at the pool, great drinks. The staff were amazing. The grounds were beautiful with a coffee shop and more! Kids loved it.

We stayed 2 times during our trip to Costa Rica, first between traveling from one end of the country to the other, and on our last day/night in San Jose before departing home. It was a great place to be as a rest stop before departing home after a rather active vacation. More like a resort than just a hotel, lots of amenities, great pools, so if you want to just relax, it is ideal. It is also close to the airport so easy if you are just landing in San Jose or on the way out in terms of convenience. There were also lots of good choices of restaurants in the hotel.

Really lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, nice grounds to walk round and a great pool. The staff were really friendly, and there were lots of vegan options which was great for me too! Loved it.

Such a great location for the airport without feeling like an airport hotel, the perfect stop after a long flight from the uK. Highly recommend , we had a pool room and travelled with young child and teenager who also loved it .

Room entry times not met. Told if we upgraded to executive room we would get in earlier. Didnt happen. Actually 30 mins later than 16.00 check in. Asked at desk about airport shuttle. Told one at 18.00. We we came down bellboy told us where to wait for bus at 18.00. Sign said shuttle 17.00 and 19.00. We checked again to make sure it was 18.00. No shuttle. Staff disappeared. Woman who arranged taxi sorted it for us at 18.20. Service overall poor and inaccurate. Steak restaurant is great. Shame about front of house. The stea

It is an extremely old facility with very little charm. The staff is fabulous, however. The food in the restaurant facilities are mediocre.

We were promised a room with a king size bed, and a twin bed. The room had only one bed. They brought in a cot, which took up most of the rest of the space. There was constant noise from a wedding or some party just outside our window, so we couldn’t use our deck. They promised to make good for the false representation, but they only offered Marriott points, which we have no way to use.

This hotel seems overpriced for feeling quite outdated. The quality of the food in the two restaurants tried was not great but very pricey. Pet fee was 100dollars compared to 20-30 dollars which is what I'm used to being charged for my pet in similar hotels, this was also not clearly disclosed on the booking site or when I wrote to let them know I was traveling with my dog prior to arrival.

Absolutely horrific service with deposits. It's been over 30 days since my stay. On arrival, the hotel charge you a deposit for the full stay (plus additional charge for stuff they assume you'll buy during your stay) and in my case, still haven't returned my deposit. This was $1600 and I'm still waiting. Shocking. It's taken nearly a month for the hotel to respond to my emails and still no sign of a returned deposit. I've never rated a hotel below 8 in my life but this has to be done. Appalling situation.

The pool was grossly overcrowded and at check-in, they tried to upsell us on a room near the pool, so glad I declined as that would have been insanely loud. Restaurants/bars felt very dirty and Americanized. The staff looked tired and overworked.

There were two weddings on the same day. For those that we wanted to rest with our families the music from 2pm to 1am on the morning doesn’t help. Also they made a charge (larger than the total bill) in my credit card and still having no answer.

They screw you with a stories about upgrades etc. Fake. Info about lounge was not correct. We were late and no snack available. Personal was rude, impolite. Not recommended at all. I forgot my hat in the property, and when I asked to keep it and I will pick it up, they told it wasn’t found in my room…stolen!

We were charged a different rate to the one agreed via Booking.com. We showed them the email from Booking.com but they didn't agree to it so we paid more than we were expecting to pay and then they wouldn't take the extra off our bill. We will not be recommending this hotel. Absolute disgrace.

we booked and paid for a room with a view. the view was directly into a grassy hill. basically no view at all. this made the tool very dark.
