Amour suites was very small and cramped for 2 people. No space to hang and dry your wet clothing, there was a hanger outside but you get no sunlight in this suite so nothing dried. Also very dark since you get no sunlight in this suite. Quite a lot of cracks in the place so you do get bugs. Outdoor shower was nice but again not a lot of space for your toiletries for 2 people

It is not in Santa Teresa or on Santa Teresa Beach. This is really misleading and perhaps explains why they take all your money before you arrive through PayPal and not credit cards as mentioned by others. It’s also not 0.8 miles from Santa Teresa as it says, more like 3-4. Yes, it’s beautiful, well-kept, secure and close to playa Hermosa beach but Santa Teresa is well over an hour’s walk on a hot dusty road, or $20 each way by cab. This limited our ability to go to bars and restaurants or the lifeguarded beach in the main part of town.

The room in the ground floor was very dark and smelled super moldy, especially the bedroom. Even my clothes had taken on the odour after a few days. This made the stay not really comfortable. Breakfast is not available.

The location (playa Hermosa) is completely off and unless you have a 4x4 or at least a higher car, you cannot reach the place. Also nothing around in the evening so one has to drive for 20-30 minutes to Santa Tereza on the bad coastal road (it consists more of potholes than of actual road). As for the beach, it's definitely for surfers, not much for just lying down, it's got quite a few stones

The property is done up tastefully and the help given by Lucía with directions and other questions was always very prompt and useful

The access to the property is incredibly difficult (no road, only tracks with large rocks and holes), access to the beach through jungle mud roads (don’t go in flip flops!), lack of culinary options around and no service available at the property.

The property itself is nice, the pool is great and rooms are large. Good internet.

The rooms at the groundlevel are dark, since there are quite some plants around the house. This means you need the lights on all the time. Even on your own outside patio. Further the room up is in direct contact with your house. This means you hear every step, movements and so on from your neighbours. Moreover the staff has limited hours and even while availbile through phone, this feels a bit less 'warm'. While booking this place, these factors made it not really value for money and the stay was not as we expected it (from the pictures, relax and natural light in your room).

The pool is nice and refreshing. Place is good desgined, and green and plants everywhere. Bed is good and kitchen well equiped to cook. Room is large enough and separate bedroom is nice. Staff is helpfull when they are there and housekeeping can even do laundry as a big plus.

The villas are MUCH older than the photos and copy on the website depict them as. I like complete authenticity and transparency so I know what to expect when I arrive. Would be more honest to update the photos on the website (and other places) with the current look and feel of the place.

Sophia and the sweet cat Lua was the best part of the stay. I loved that it was super close to a GORGEOUS beach.

We had a major power outage for more than 15 hours, where we neither had any electricity nor water or light which was annoying. The location was quite far from Santa Teresa, since the street is not in good condition, it usually takes 20 minutes to reach the city center, even by car

The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The pool was nice and the staff very friendly.

The distance from the main area where the restaurants and bars are. The road leading to the property from the “city center” is in bad condition so you have to go very slow. No TV if you’re into that. I’d like to see more modern outlets for wireless charging and USB-C ports.

dont use the towels, they charge you. they did not communicate that the lights and water can stop working. I was not able to brush my teeth or use bathroom. I didn’t here from manager until 3 days after no power, over all staff was nice but communication could have been better for someone who’s never been to this location. manager said it happens a lot where the power goes out but there is no back up plan or generator. over all bad experience. again not the room specifically but the overall experience

- The location is not Santa Teresa. They claim Playa Hermosa is in Santa Teresa, it is not. It is almost 6 kilometers away and this wouldnt mean a problem in the US but 6 km through an extremely bad road make a difference. Plus consider this is the tropics, it rains a lot when it does and the road is in very bad shape and it gets tough on any car. - They have only 3 parking spots. Meaning you most likely will leave the car outside. Not a very nice idea if you own a car that you like or you have rented a car and you are scared something might happen to it. - The key of the door broke. It is very weak key. - You will have to pay your entire booking one month before that. Again that is not specified in the payment section of this business. They say here you pay half before arriving. Then they will ask you for the other half one month in advance. - Rude staff Overall for the money you can get something better, close to the cute restaurants.

I liked the pool. It is a nice pool. Very well designed, inviting. Good quality beds.

We booked villa OLAS, which on the pictures looked very different then in real life. We had a room on the ground floor with no view. We looked out on the parking area and we were very disappointed about that. Also the shower had cold water, which for the price you pay here is quite unacceptable. The guard was loud in the night, he watched loud tv shows which disrupted our sleeping. The airco wasn’t working properly and made a lot of noise. All in all we found we paid too much for what we got. You also need to drive a very difficult road with loads of bumps to get to santa teresa..

Incheck was nice, the lady who checked us in was super friendly. We felt welcome.

First, there were blood stains in our bed sheets at our arrival, that was a bit shocking. The hotel is actually far from the city center so you will have to take taxis to go, that are extremely pricy (20$ for a 10 min ride!). Cleaning wise the room was poorly done (towels un changed, sheets same…) There is a ‘yoga’ space but the mats are very old, dirty, in bad condition. Finally there is no possibility to get laundry, and no breakfast provided. For the value/price i’d recommend to stay elsewhere.

Beautiful, gated and secured property (during the night’s there is a security guard that remains near the main entrance. We were received by Julie (host); very friendly; she gave us a tour of the property. The property is surrounded by pure nature. Very peaceful. We stayed in the Amor (Love) Studio; very cozy, clean and comfortable. Loved it! And to top it off, the beach was only a 5 minute walk away; supermarket was 3 minutes away and TP8 restaurant was 4 minutes away.

Price-performance ratio was insufficient, eventhough we went during the rainseason. The hairdryer and safe were broken. No breakfast included. Guests need to bring their own beach towels.

The location is close to the beach. It is very spaceous with a kitchen, fridge and Balcony. Beds are confortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
