Nice facility near the beach and an easy walk to a good local Soda. Also the shared kitchen was ok but The refrigerators had rotten food in them.

the room door to the 10 bed dorm next to the kitchen is broken and makes loud noises as different people fight to open and close it.

the vibe was real good. I appreciated the managers efforts to keep this hostel running smoothly.

Room we got had privacy screens on all windows, felt like living in a prison because we couldn't look outside at all. There was a window facing the hallway inside that was directly under a light, so whenever someone walked by our room was lit up like midday...

found a huge cockroach in the bathroom and some small others which was pretty gross. even if the room seemed cleaned, there where some stains on the bed. at 11pm they turn off the music but people continue being loud till late night. they accept late check-in, because at 2.30am I was woken up by another girl trying to get in the dorm (which was okay but bit scary since i was alone).

close to the beach, to farmer’s market and to some supermarkets and other shops. perfect location just on jaco beach. pretty cool rooftop with beach view and hammocks.

After 8 months of traveling and living in Costa Rica and Peru...this was my worst experience. Jacobi's bad, but not this bad. 1. The staff clearly hates their lives, are clueless, and have zero personality except for one nice blonde guy working in the surf shop mainly, named Marviz (I think). Everyone else was rude, childish, and are clearly not trained. The running joke amongst visitors was that the kids working there thought that they were living the Pua Vida in Jaco. 😂 Even worse, one guy said that they were Jaco 6s and Miami 3s. It was that negative of a vibe. 2. My room smelled unimaginably garlicky. 3. Bar service was nonexistent. Imagine how much they would have made if they weren't busy ignoring their guests. No eye contact, no small talk, no thank you for my tips. So, we stopped engaging altogether. 4. Drinks were far too expensive and food was adequate. 5. Crap left in toilets. 6. Nasty showers. 7. Dangerous neighborhood. 8. Do NOT expect a warm or professional welcome (forget a tour of the facilities) that you have received in every other hostel in Latin America. It was embarrassing. I took no property photos for a reason.

Terrible. The staff are useless and just not friendly at all. The only friendly guys are the ones at the surf school, which are local. Super expensive for what they offer and the room has AC which you cannot modify so it is actually super cold. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We only stayed one night. The room was very tiny and the bathroom was outside the room. Orange juice was really bad. This was maybe too party place for us.

Be aware that this is a party hostal where they play music at the pool until late and you hear the music very loudly in the room - Oropax are of little benefit. If find it a bit overpriced.

The Hostel is very modern and right at the beach. They offer nice facilities like working room and terrace where you can do yoga..

Wi-Fi, food, shower!

The room was very simple and we put the bed sheets ourselves. There was no Wi-Fi in the room and we have to go to the common area on the terrasse to get it. No safe box in the rooms! The food was pricy for the quality provided and must be paid in US dollars and the changes returned to you if any, is in colonnes at the hotel's discretion rate. I found it unfair. Loud music playing all day long till 11:00 pm sometimes. The water of the shower is cold and you have to wait in the shower or open before hand the water tap for at least 15 min before getting the warm water.The beach is at the door step of the hotel and the main street is at à short walking distance. The room has a good view on the beach and sunset but overall the room and the hotel does not worth the price paid 99 US$ plus tax.

There was hardly enough water pressure to take a shower. I found it very odd that the hotel manager was drinking multiple large glasses of wine while bossing around the team. I feel like this place is a has been. I would suspect if management/ partners dig deeper the answer is right in front of them.

The view from the top floor is beautiful. There was an amazing bartender working who’s name was Nina, food was good, drinks were cold. Met some really cool fellow guests as well.
