Location, location, location! 2 minute drive to La Fortuna Waterfall. Family owned farm, absolutely beautiful setting. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast with fresh milk from their cows! Hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend!

stayed two nights while visiting la fortuna. it was a couple of mins out of town but that was perfect. less than a 5 minute drive. they had fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast. beautiful location.

We saw a lot of spiders in the room, but i guess that's normal taking into account where we were.

We loved the cabins provided by this family. The location couldn't be better, with great views of the arenal volcano and its surroundings. The staff were very friendly and they cooked a delicious traditional breakfast.

Basic only facilities. No shampoo. Shower electrically heated so ....

The location was beyond fantastic. Right in the countryside with only fields and forest separating us from the volcano. The staff was the family- very nice and non intrusive. Cabins are basic but nice. City is about 7 minutes away by car. Parking on premises. Cute doggies.

I think it’s something I see all over Costa Rica but the light in the bedroom is so uncosy, I would recommend a bed light to bring some cosy-ness and romance :) Now the light makes it look like you are at the dentist haha

Absolutely breathtaking view of the volcano, we had a really nice stay here and could definitely recommend. beds were nice and comfortable and host and breakfast were lovely!

No Coffee / tea facilities in the room, though having asked, we were able to use the kitchen. We stayed three nights and the room and bathroom were not cleaned and serviced once. Had to take toilet paper from the other occupied rooms.

Beautiful quiet position with a great view of the volcano. Lovely well maintained gardens with wild birds. Run by three generations of a friendly family with three Felixes. A great place to relax after exploring the park and around. Twenty minute walk down the hill to the town, or middle Felix will drive you anywhere in his taxi.

Very nice lodge with nice rooms. Very nice garden and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. A car helps a lot since it is a bit outside of La Fortuna. Because we had to leave earlier on our last day, the host prepared sandwiches for us instead of the breakfast.

No bedside table, no reading light. communication in English poor so hard for us to connect with owners since our Spanish is very limited 😬

Quiet yet close to town. We were lucky to catch a brief glimpse of the volcano from the property (before the clouds took over for the rest of our stay 😕). On clear days the view here must definitely be spectacular. Well maintained garden. Wifi was good.

We stayed in plenty of similar accommodation, however this one was very dusty, old, with tones of moisture in the house. The staff was not very welcoming and didn’t speak English. The breakfast was ok but we had better breakfasts in Costa Ricans accommodations

Nothing too criminal. Just note there is no AC in rooms, only fans. Cash payment only. Breakfast was basic - choice of local traditional or continental. Water in the shower was cold.

The best feature of this place is the view - you have Arenal Volcano in full view right in front of you. Another great feature is location - 1 km from the entrance to La Fortuna Waterfall and that 1 km is easily walkable. We actually got to see a family of howler monkeys in the trees right beside the road on the way.

Need a little bit more cleaning

The view is beautiful! The room was spacious and the garden is really cute. It is a good place to stay for a night or 2. Very close to La Fortuna Waterfall and the city.

The towels were stained and the mattress was not very comfortable.

The landscape is amazing with a view to the Arenal volcano. The lodge is located in the countryside outside the city. Very quiet and peaceful.

Asked for breakfast at 7 and finally got food at 7:20, even though we were at the table before 7 o'clock (on check-in they gave us the option to choose the time when we want to have breakfast). One night, the owners had a private birthday party with many guests and kids. Nobody didn’t says anything about that and apologised for the noise. They celebrated in the breakfast area close to the lodges. So it was impossible to rest or even sleep.

The lodge was big enough and clean. For breakfast, we had the option to choose between traditional CR and American with the option to choose between coffee or tea and included fresh fruits. We were in the first lodge so had good WiFi. Lodge was equipped with a fan.

room was stuffy and the fan blew on me all night…. bad was not very comfortable and the sheets were cheap and pulled up. we did not get a good nights sleep. also the bathroom door dragged on the floor and was very noisy!

The accommodations were spartan and tight. The sink leaked, there were mice in the roof, although not in the room, and at times the dogs were barking even in the middle of the night. No ventilation or screen door, which is uncomfortable when there's no A/C.

Can't beat the location, the gardens and the wildlife were incredible! The birds alone were the most diverse we saw in our 20 days in Costa Rica.
