How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very convenient to the airport and easy walking distance to restaurant options. Very clean. Parking lot was gated and monitored over night. Air conditioned private room was worth the little bit of extra money.

Staff was super friendly and it was a perfect place to stay for a night to be near the airport. Food truck outside is good, has everything you need.

Needs more hooks or ways to hang things in the room. No way to even hang up a towel. Everything has to be on the floor or in a cubby. Also A bedside light or lamp would be helpful. Only overhead lighting.
Felt very safe as it was gated and had a security officer there, and someone in the front office at all times. Also, having a food cart there was very helpful.

Food only available until 10 pm
Would recommend it for a one night stay after arriving in CR or before leaving. Was staying there for one night after I arrived very hungry at the airport and was very happy that they offer food until 10 pm which was delicious. It’s overall clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. They also organized a taxi to get to Denny’s for my shuttle transfer in the morning

Perfect location to the airport, this is exactly what you need if you land late at night or fly out early morning. We arrived at the evening, had a great food grab at the food truck and stayed over the night as we had an early flight out. We stayed at a room only for the two of us, it had it's own private bathroom and shower. Bed was comfortable and we could relax in the room on the sofa and watch a bit of Netflix before going to sleep. You really don't need more...!

Great accommodation for staying over before of after flying. Super clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food from the truck outside was good for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend!

Very noisy group of women in room in front of mine, talking until late at night.
Great location, clean rooms and bathrooms. Convenient restaurant on property with good food at reasonable prices.

There is people coming in and going out during the night, which is normal since it is the purpose of this hostel I think.
It is near the airport, perfect for one night, accessible for 5$ in taxi. There is showers, bed and bathroom. A foodtruck there is also a good thing and the casado is great.

The hostels booking automated msg said the taxi after midnight from the airport is $10. But when I arrived with the contact they suggested, the reception said it should have been $5. Misleading.... Bathrooms very tiny.
Close to the airport. Basic but clean. Very nice staff/receptionist. 1 block from the local red bus that goes into town.

No way to communicate with the staff (no whatsapp number that I could find) No lockers Could hear airplanes quite loudly (but for me, this was not an issue as I brought ear plugs).
This place is super close to the airport. Has a driver to take you where ever you need to go, including to and from the airport. Staff was nice. They set up taxi if needed too. The food truck there is convenient and tasty. The rooms are just bunks. Bathrooms and showers clean.

No real common area to congregate and socialize, but outside around the food truck is OK.
Clean, good showers/restrooms, nice staff, A/C, quiet inside despite proximity to airport departures. Food truck. They coordinate a cheap $5 taxi to and from the airport. I actually walked from the airport, but I don’t recommend it crossing the highway with lots of gear.

It’s not close to any food and the food truck closes at 10pm. If you coming in from a late night flight don’t expect to get food when you get there.
