The hostel seemed empty but they put me in a room right behind the front desk. All you could hear was the employees watching videos on their phones. Then I’m the middle of the night a person came into our room and got on the top bunk. Soon after he fell asleep he started snoring extremely loudly waking my self and the other person up. We woke him up and eventually he left the room. Turns out this snoring man was the airport shuttle driver. Not sure why they put him in our room. Pretty weird place. The food truck is also super overpriced. Go to the restaurant on the corner. Way better value.

since it is a very popular hostel, being such a great destination, it was often quite loud. I did also struggle to get in touch with the Toucan taxi driver on my way to the hostel from the airport, but on the way back it was easily managed

the location was perfect, very short drive to the airport, right near a dennys- the beds we’re comfortable and the rooms didnt have too many beds in as some hostels often do

Got to the city early morning and they kindly held my luggage for me while I toured the city before check in time. They also helped arrange a taxi to take me to the airport at 3am.

Good value,, semi secluded and steps from the airport. Great little food truck and relaxing little eating area outside. Nice kitchen for cooking and a really great staff! First day going or coming is a must stay!

i chose it because it was near the airport and i think that’s their purpose. they also have a taxi that takes u right away to the airport whenever u need it and also he can pick u up :) the place was clean, the food is good for the price so it was a 10/10 for me. totally recommend this place!

The shared bathrooms were of okay cleanliness, but it is a hostel so this is to be expected.

Good value for the price and location next to the airport. The Toucan truck was a surprisingly good burger and last meal in Costa Rica. The staff helped a lot with transport to the airport and were very flexible.

They had the worst food I could ever imagine at a hotel and the food there is very expensive. I just bought tasted and threw away. I had the worst experience when it came food.

I liked the fact that the staff were so nice and attended to all of my requests. It wasn't difficult to be traced from the airport

Great location 5 mins from airport by orange taxi ( official taxis) took a tip only. Only needed it for a few hours sleep b4 transfer but ideal for that. Very comfortable and food truck outside and seating area perfect for breakfast. Staff were great.

Location is why you would go there , 5min walk from the airport. Good for travellers catching their flight in the morning or landing late at night.

Other guests were loudly talking next to the food truck which was right under my window. The breakfast was very little for me as I don't eat eggs or cheese. The portion of bean,rice,platanos didn't increase I just didn't get eggs etc. I think its a bit overpriced for 8 USD for the tiny vegan version.

I liked the room, very comfortable bed and location excellent and close by the airport ,i slept really well.

Otherwise the air was so stinky in the room. The breakfast is nit worth 8$, the eggs were cold and old.

It's okey for 1 night if you wait for a flight, as it's near the airport.

I needed a stay to get by airplane the next day. This was a very good place to take a good shower and sleep in an excellent bed before going to the airport. They also provide a place for your car, that was my case. Also the staff is very friendly!

It’s extremely loud, but worst of all was that when they asked if we needed a ride to the airport in the morning, they didn’t tell me that it would cost 4,000 colones. They could easily have charged my card for that when I checked in, since that’s when they asked if we needed a ride. Instead we didn’t find out until we were already at the airport and the driver made us go to an ATM to take out cash, adding a lot of extra time that we didn’t have. It was a reasonable price, but really frustrating that they didn’t tell us that up front.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they have a big shared kitchen, and the room was fine given the price.

The hostel is really close to the airport but that doesn't mean its safe located, they don't give keys or lockers so I felt a bit uncomfortable, when I took a shower there was no hot water, the bathrooms weren't cleaned, it is not a place I would come back only if I wanted to save money.
