Close to the airport to drop the car rental off and head home. Very reasonable or really incredibly cheap and certainly value for money but you get what you pay for.

Friendly staff very clean and the common kitchen area had more than enough equipment to cook easily. The pool was very clean and the security on the property was great behind the locked gate. It’s a good value for the money.

It was a good location, only about 10 minutes walk to downtown. Shared kitchen could have used a few more implements, but it was all good. Owner did laundry for us, for a fee of course. Gated, so felt safe and the pool, while small, was perfect to cool off. Also only 2 blocks from the beach which was lovely. Quiet location.

We felt secure and safe at this property. The staff was great and took care of us! The rooms are basic but clean. We enjoyed the outdoor cooking areas and kitchens. The pool was lovely and well maintained- great to cool off 😊

It was very difficult to find. A sign on the main road would have been helpful. We had a car but if you didn’t it was a bit of a walk to the centre.

The use of a kitchen was great for making breakfast and snacks. The room was very comfortable and the pool was an added feature. If you are driving there is plenty of free secure parking.

Good value. Secure parking. Freezer available to freeze water bottles for cooler. Less than 100m to store and restaurant and short walk to quiet part of the beach.

When I arrived, I was told CASH only, which I did not have. The staff was very kind and allowed me to stay with the agreement that I would pay the next day. I had to get to the airport in the morning and could not find anyone to make arrangements with for payment. Booking.com says BANK TRANSFER in the fine print. This needs to be fixed, and the CASH only policy communicated to guests before arrival. I received a nasty message regarding NOT paying, but I am still waiting for someone to communicate a method of electronic payment so that I can pay. It was very noisy with screaming girls' until 3 am in the pool, and barking dogs which is out of their control. Again, I sincerely appreciated not being turned away being a single female at night, but this policy should be made clear upon booking. I was actually under the impression it was paid already through booking.com.

It was secure with a huge locked gate and barbed wire, which made me think I was perhaps not in a good part of town. When I left in the morning I had the feeling that is what it must feel like to be released from prison.

8 minute walk to town and 12 minutes to the beach in town. The small hotel compound was very secure. Staff was attentive to my needs.

No tv in English. For me a 15 minute walk to centro. I am older & a widow travelling solo so needed to be back by dark. Boring nights with no English channels. Road to centro very busy & lot of areas with no sidewalk. Quite dangerous walk.

Lady who runs it (Maria) & her husband Carlos wonderful. & very helpful as well as friendly. Even made me dinner one night. Loved the pool & cooking facilities. Mini market very close

As with most of CR, hot water showers are not happening, get used to cold showers. No directions on how to exit premises, had to figure it out each day. One of your keys will open the gate lock, use a bendy arm to get into the gate mechanisms. You will also have to ask for maid service, after a couple days I just asked for bath towels each day as I was filthy and didn't care and it was just me. I think the owners and operators think that going into your room once you have the keys is a violation of privacy. Not wrong, but a difference in B&B or hotels from US to CR. Spanish speaking only so bring your translation app.

Location was 10 min from Playa Del Coco, a little dirt / paved road winds right into town, half shaded half not. Careful for traffic and other people. Very clean room, big bed, great AC, two kitchens with everything hot plate and needed and fridge if you felt like cooking, nice little pool (in pictures)and outdoor pool shower if you want to cool off. Coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch at the end of the street (not sure of the days, they were open on Saturday but not Monday), little supermarket one block over, a little store selling nice CR food and clothing another block over towards town.

Not the greatest location, ~10min walk on dark streets to the main strip.

Decent place with helpful and friendly lady who handled check-in and our questions. Secure courtyard with a nice little pool. Ice cold A/C, clean room with minifridge. Good communal kitchen. Our car rental company (Adobe) was able to pick our rental car up from here as it is within 19km of their Liberia Airport location, this meant we could just get a taxi to the airport early in the morning for our flight home without worrying about dropping off the car.

There was no house keeping service for the room, same towels and bedding for the 7 night stay. We cleaned the floor etc ourselves. The pool was good, but the pump was not on anytime we used it. There was no hot water to the shower.

Excellent location, secure parking, clean and tidy. Nice to have a good kitchen and the use of a pool. The room had a working TV and fridge.

There were two kitchens for use but not fully stocked with all the correct or enough dishes and utensils at least there was a toaster. Basics like oil and salt would have been nice.

Beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking inside for the car. Lots of space in bathroom and racks for putting things.

The check in was difficult because the address didn't take me to the property. It took me a while and only after calling the host a couple of times we were able to connect in the middle of the street so she could guide me to the property.

The property is well maintained. Everything works fine: the A/C, fridge, shower, bed. It is very safe. Maria the host is very responsive and takes care of things in a good manner. The beach is only 200 mts away so you can walk there. There is a supermarket 50 mts away.
