“The accommodation is on the eastern edge of Espargos, a 400 CV Escudo trip from the airport. The room was large, beds comfortable, and whilst there was no A/C, the room was cool enough for good sleep. The breakfast consisted of coffee and two slices of toast with two fried eggs. The owner was helpful and boiled water for me on two occasions for coffee. Payment must be made in local currency though there are ATMs in the town and currency exchange booth at the airport.”
