How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

From the moment we arrived the staff was very welcoming..the room we stayed in had a balcony so the views were wonderful...the bed was the best bed i ever slept in my entire life..

Upkeep in some areas could have been better (ex. Paint on walls needed to be touched up)
This hotel is right in the heart if Willemstad. A lot of shops restaurants and attractions are within walking distance! The staff were friendly and accommodating the room was nice and modern.

Terrace needs to be in prestine conditions and settle each morning. Change the water of the Little swimming spool more often.

The pool hours could have been longer. Parking was a bit tedious because it was public parking in a busy area so we had to make the block a few times before finding a park.
It was close to a lot of restaurants, cafes and the Queen Emma Bridge. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful. The place was very clean and smelled nice. The facilities were quite modern. The rooftop restaurant, excellent. The view was out of this world!

There's no box to leave tips for the reception staff
What I wanted and more. The room and bathroom are large. Technology up to date. In the middle of Punda easy to get to the bus stop or Otrobanda. And if you have a late flight there's storage for luggage and you can refresh in the toilet near the reception. Water is free during your stay. There's a roof top restaurant, pool and seating area with a fantastic view . It's also very safe and there's security in the night.

The Receptionist was Amazing...Friendly Knowledge and made a wonderful first impression ...the facilities were very clean comfortable and modern...Biggest Shower ive ever seen in my life lol...the location is unbeatable...I work for a luxury resort so I am hard to please but I honestly cant think of anything wrong with this Hotel...Dont stay anywhere else!!!!

I loved every moment of my stay at Elements. It's close to Queen Emma's bridge and the Curaçao sign. I was able to see it from my window every morning and evening. I suggest an Oceanview studio if available. It was very spacious and clean. Everything was walking distance. If you want to go further, the front desk assists you with a taxi service, or you can opt for a rental car. We met a nice young man on our 2nd night there that drove us everywhere, and it was the best thing. We were able to check off everything of our list and experience more than we expected. Curaçao is beautiful with a European flair, and I can't wait to get back. Elements has a texting service for any issues. Every single thing that I requested was honored within minutes. This boutique hotel is a Gem.

I was willing to contribute to 'save the planet' as per sign in the bathroom and hung up my towel. The maid changed it nevertheless. If you are an early or light sleeper, there can be live music heard from the roof terrace.
The location, the many power outlets, the beautiful scent throughout the hotel, the roof top terrace contributed to a successful stay.

Overwhelming scents in the hallways (but that is just a personal preference) Drinking glasses in the room were not being cleaned properly.
Excellent location, good value for money. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable enough. AC was not properly working on arrival day but the maintenance team took care of it and worked well afterwards.

Shadaih Pers, Shelsie and all crew are fantastic. Excellent customer service. Once you enter this Hotel Elements, you are home. I think the decor and ambiance should match the colorful vibes of Curacao. The room didnt have enough windows so not enough natural lighting and had very dark blue curtains.
The location was everything. Perfect. Can walk around Punda and Otrobanda. Loved having the rooftop bar Cascada right there as well. Also 2 other restaurants on site.

Small pool on the roof closes at 18:00 h.
Modern hotel in City center, all highlights can be reached within 5 min walk. Nice roof terrace and bar, with small swimming pool. Rooms suitable for families (2 kids - 11 and 13), but small, however perfect option for a few days stay do discover Willemstad. Friendly staff, free water during whole stay.
