Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHmmm...Didn't noticed anything what I don't like. This hotel is special about service and with location it's the strongest point
Spent last weekend in Little King U Malvaze and it was best choice.Visited many hotels but first time service looked after as so good. From bring our luggage up to the room, offer coffee or water in reception and help whatever we need.Even room is in the centre, double windows are very good quallity and don't hear any noise from the street.Breakfast is in the winter garden :-) This are details we will remeber and reason we will come back.Highly recommend and best regards to Pawel and his colleagues :-)

CanadaThere was no air conditioning so had to leave windows open which ended up with a lot of noise from outside. And a major minus point, no elevators - after walking 15 - 20km per day, climbing stairs to the 3rd floor was very challenging.
In the heart of Old Prague - the staff at the hotel were very nice, courteous and helpful.

ItalyThe room was a 3 meter corridor with charatersitc wood beams that reached a low of about 1,5 meters with a standup coat hanger as a closet and no drawers nor shelves. To reach this so-called room, you needed to climb uneven steep stairs for 3 floors. I live in a 4-story house but these were difficult stairs. Luckily it was a 2 night stay and I chose to travel light! The worst €360 spent in a hotel ever!! What I found completely unfair was that all this info should have been shared with me before letting me.book it.
The location was great and the main reason I chose this hotel even if the price was rather high.

United KingdomI recently stayed at Little king U Malvaze, and while my overall experience was good like the rooms were clean. I encountered significant challenges with accessibility. The hotel does not have a lift, and reaching the fourth floor was particularly difficult. The final steps leading up were quite steep and felt unsafe. For travelers with mobility concerns or those carrying heavy luggage, this might pose a real issue.

PortugalThe location was really good and the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. It was also clean. The only problem we encountered was the soundproofing of the room. We could hear clearly every time someone talked in the street - we were on the second floor) and when someone passed outside the room (steps, doors opening, conversations, hotel staff…).

IsraelWe didn’t know that there was no elevator and we stayed on the third floor. There was a problem with water pressure that was partially fixed once we approached the staff. The water temperature was pretty much cold all day long and the staff said there is nothing to do about it.
The place was very clean and the location was amazing. The staff was very kind.

IrelandYou can hear everything, and I mean everything through those doors but they did provide ear plugs. We did have to repeatedly ask for coffee pods for the coffee machine in the room. All in all I would say expensive for what we got.
Ideal location and lovely rooms. Air conditioning, two big windows onto the street. And a really nice breakfast. Most of the staff were fantastic and so friendly but one receptionist has a terrible attitude.

United StatesAlthough I asked for a lower floor months before booking I was given a a room on the 3rd floor. Three full flights up as the lobby is not the first floor. The room had only skylights looking at a wall and the lighting in the room was low, the bedside table lamps were useless so it felt like a cave unless you used the harsh overhead lighting. The tub/ shower was treacherous, with a very high step into. Although the breakfast was good the acoustics in that room were terrible. Every time the sliding door opened it screeched. If you book a deluxe double don’t take room 301. I had such high hopes for this hotel as the other double rooms looked lovely online.
The breakfast was good, plentiful and varied. The location was great but only if you like to be in the throng of tourists.

ColombiaThere are no elevators at all. I stayed on the 5th floor and it was a nightmare to carry on my luggage and everyday activities. The staircase is really long given the fact that it is a very old building. Don't recommend it if you have mobility issues.

United KingdomI would recommend the manager spends a night in room 507. Whilst aesthetically it looked great it failed to fulfil its primary purpose in providing a decent nights sleep. There is absolutely no logic in not proving a curtain in the ante room as you walk in. As a result the room was flooded with light at 5.30am. The pillows were so large they were extremely comfortable. A real shame as very simple mistakes made, but easy to rectify. A classic example to style over substance
