How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Unfortunately noisy in early morning. Aroung 5AM somebody started to hammering meat. My room was above kitchen/restaurant, but other colleagues also heard it. I am not saying it is always like that, but my stay was not confortable.

Very clean and spacious room. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean room. Big bathroom with shower. As it was a very,very hot day,we missed only aircondition. We knew that was not included so it was as expected. Fair breakfast. Really good scrambeled eggs. The hotel hosts also have a fantastic restaurant next door to the hotel. Really great food. The terrace in the restaurant must be experienced if staying at the hotel.Could have been aircondition, but you can leave all windows open as there are no disturbing traffic outside.

As there is no lift and I was walking with crutches they prepared new room for us on first floor. This was really helpful as initially our room had to be on the third floor.

No A/C on apartment.
Very friendly staff. Clean hotel. Very rich breakfast. Close to city center. Staff communicated before our arrival if requested some additional service. Free Wi-Fi.

Location in an interesting historical building in the city center; a generously sized room that included a little hallway and a nice big bathroom. The breakfast has a good range of options.

The smell from the restaurant downstairs kills all the advantages of the terrace, which, indeed, is very well equipped. The restaurant ventilation is constructed in a way that allows all the kitchen smells to the backyard and the rooms.
Very comfortable room. The bed is a paradise. Coffee in the room and espresso machine is a great bonus.

We were on the third floor. Luggage was a challenge to move up and down. Had to rent a parking spot around the corner. We had a hard time finding it even with GPS.
The restaurant next to it was fabulous. Best salmon alfredo ever. Breakfast was very good. Large clean room.

It’s a cozy and small hotel, clean and spacious. Breakfast was outstanding and staff welcomed us very warmly. I would say perfect for romantic getaways, but suitable for families with kids as well. In the very center of town.

No lift, all rooms upstairs.
Large comfortable room, with sofa and chairs. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and lots of fruit choices. Although 2 miles from station, frequent trolleybus service from there to main square close to hotel. Excellent restaurant next door, linked to the hotel, sadly not well patronised even though attractive, with lovely garden, and reasonable menu. Staff helpful.

The street was a little bit noisy at the morning (cars) and before midnight (people). So, it was not easy to get some fresh air during night after a hot summer day.
Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast! Yep, it was really excellent with a lot of options. The room was spatial with a nice styling. It was comfortable enough for 2 adults and small boy. We liked the curtains that allowed to create "dark night" and fall asleep sooner.

To be honest, we did not expect the hotel to be so comfortable. Check-in was easy, the room is spacious, the restaurant is perfect, the breakfast is generous and tasty, and the people are friendly and helpful. The bed is wonderful. Our stay was a total relaxation.

No elevator but in an older building to be expected.
Flexible Staff - we called and the receptionist waited for us and checked us in. The room was very spacious and cozy, way beyond expectations of a normal hotel room. It felt like coming home.

The location was great, in a quiet street near the square. The breakfast was phenomenal, with an incredible variety of goodies on offer. I could have stayed there all day but alas, had to go about my business.

It was a bit loud during the night - our window was directly to the street and there is one bar. The heating was not working until we left - it was rather cold. But we never mentioned this, maybe someone did.
This is not really a 4 star hotel - it's more like an apartment. But a nice one! Our room was clean, it had a water kettle and a little fridge. The bed was okay, pillows somehow huge. The breakfast was good. There was also alcohol in the breakfast ;) Have never seen that before. The hotel has a VERY nice restaurant, Restaurant Atrium.
